    1842 immediately made me think Poe, so it was just a matter of narrowing down to a short story he wrote involving a object moving left and right. One pendulum in my mind later, and I come to the correct response.

    Hmm... Matt was locked in third place in last year's Masters Tournament and he was locked in 6th place this year. Mattea came in second place in a very close game against James Holzhauer, last year, while coming in 5th place in a very close leaderboard score against Amy Schneider this year. Could James, perhaps, continue the trend and be the next champion to lose in Masters this year?

  • @manodakshin6020
    @manodakshin602019 күн бұрын

    So much for a James vs Matt vs Mattea rematch but at least Amy Schneider proved herself worthy of being the Producer’s Pick by clinching a spot in the semifinals.

    Mattea still has won more money and gotten to play more games than many people who will ever make it to the show will ever get to play though, so it's not like Mattea has anything to be ashamed of. This is just an extremely elite group of contestants and so regardless of how good you are, being just a step below the rest is enough to do you in.

    Spoiler below: What can I say at this point about Victoria, she won 5/6 of her quarterfinal games, matching James's performance from last year. As I've said before, she could take the whole thing, and as a fan of James, that's scary. Amy finally redeemed herself! After a crushing defeat last year and getting another chance despite losing against Victoria in JIT, she proved why she's made history, and while I don't see her getting to the finals, this is progress. As for Mattea, they played great but had a tough final game. Best wishes to them, and I'm sure they'll be back for the next JIT.
