I found It! 😊👏🏾 *“As Leaves”* _written by Rostam Batmanglij and performed by Anne Donlon and Michael Skelly_ And as leaves fall in my arms and mind’s roots spread across coming forward from nothing, rising upward from a seed. The feelings soften. Coming forward from nothing, rising upward from a seed. Then in my mind and connecting leaves is a tree, is a feeling.

I swear Zal and Brit are meant to write sci-fi together. The Recordist isn't perfect but if they ever turn this into a TV series it would be a masterpiece, especially with how The OA changed meta/sci-fi genre. 2007 Brit is incredibly beautiful. Weird thing to say, but I am obsessed with her teeth and bone structure. Ok this got wierder. i just love her in so many ways!

I come back to watch this every now and then....luckily now its much easier to find on KZread thanks to you. So hauntingly beautiful. I always wonder what this film can possibly tell us about future seasons of The OA, given that Brit and Zals work often share very similar themes. Is The OA an alien sent to record significant historical events? Is The OA really The Original Alien?

I believe that this is Zal's first film, which he made when a student at film school. I searched for it for ages but eventually gave up. Such a rare, beautiful and precious treat. Thank you so much for uploading.

ok, really liked it... but, . . . . if she was on one of the planes (11), then they could never get her post-plane poop... so, she wouldn't have been able to pass anything on to anyone... so, this couldn't have been why she was there... it would have be something prior to that. Also, it was probably just pomegranate seeds... what was the decision to have her eat those the day before she checks her poop? Just to give some 'is it true or not true' vibe?

Well seeing how they retrieve the recordings it's safe to say the aliens ain't gonna get this recording!

If you read comments before watching you, deserve spoilers 😂 Think I’ll have to watch this a few times at least. So this is meant to be linked with OA. Is the A a metronome or is the planned 5 seasons OA symbols would have created a map to the origin point of Aliens or us? Is the O the first image from the voyager disc, the hydrogen symbol for changing state? Is the relevance of 1 also representing the changing from one state to another or the beginning or leadership? Is OA omega Alpha so going back to the beginning/resetting? Numbers/angel numbers seem important in OA & the release dates both add up to 19 which ads to 10 which goes down to 1 in numerology. Also Charlie’s locker is 10 with 0 rubbed off or is that a jumble of 9/11 date or just coincidence? 😂 I would check the angel number meaning of any numbers that popped up on OA probably didn’t catch them all & I don’t remember them now 😂 but numbers seemed overly prominent at times. I only watched OA once around the time the second season came out tho (might’ve seen 1st twice, once in prep for2nd & misremembering ) 😂 I need to watch again. I think about it every now and again, but this comment probably looks like it’s constantly 😂 I swear I’m not the lady in this short 😂 I really hope the cancellation was part of the whole thing & it comes back. I saw a YTV, yesterday, about it possibly being a fake cancellation & they said it was 800 days between seasons, for some reason I checked (well googled the dates & days between dates) & it was 826days. Number also represents your wishes/prayers reaching the divine realm. Then I looked at the numerology of each date & it worked out the same. So I was curious how often that occurred & couldn’t find the answer from Google 😂 so I just looked at all the Fridays left in 2024 (since they always came out on Friday) & 2 dates fitted. Now I’m thinking it’s linked to the solstices & equinoxes but known dates aren’t exact match 🤷‍♀️ 1st was 5 days before winter solstice (omega, end?) “numerologist Joy Woodward, author of A Beginner's Guide to Numerology, says that change, transition, and progressive thinking are at the forefront. The number 5 is also a sign of freedom, versatility, promotion, and being resourceful and adaptable” 2nd was 3 days after Spring equinox, "Three encourages you to put energy into your own growth and expansion and your own journey, and where you want to be and where you'd like to be, and then encourages you to dream big," 2nd also 3 years after 1st. So hoping there will be a 3rd season dropped on June 21 2024 1 day before summer solstice & 5 years after 2nd 😂 but probably not “Having number 1 as your life path number calls you to self-determination. Your angels and the Ascended Masters want you to open your eyes to the many opportunities in your life. The old lady thinks Brit's character is sent to Earth to record significant events. 9/11 was a world event that changed history, so in essence they are conveying that the old lady was correct.
