Fall is usually much better than spring, you will have the chance to catch Mahi Mahi during this period. The videos were filmed in late September-early October.

Have never been there but usually the ports are good starting points. Use some small jigs and minnows and look for other fishermen. Lastly it is always helpful to visit a local tackle shop, buy something the locals use and get some intel on spots. Should be fine!

Geiles Video. Braucht man auf Kreta ein Lizenz oder kann man einfach so angeln? Ich habe auch eine spinnrute im Koffer. Habt ihr die Spots gezielt ausgewählt oder einfach random geangelt wo es grade gepasst hat? Ich könnte noch nichts fangen.

Danke schön! Man braucht in Griechenland generell keine Lizenz, auf Kreta auch nicht. Wir benutzen Navionics für die Wassertiefe und google earth. Ein weiterer Tipp wäre an den gleichen Stellen zu angeln wie die locals. Es lohnt sich die zu fragen wo die besten spots sind. Petri heil!🎣

You can fish several styles. From shore jigging to spinning and from light to heavy. I would opt for a rod around 10ft and a casting weight that suits you. Then get some lures accordingly and you should be fine. Generally spinning for cuda with minnows is a pretty safe bet.

Sure! In this video we mainly used a Shimano Dialuna MB (5Piece travel version) with a Shimano Twin Power XD 3000 XG Varivas PE1 line and little drag metal jigs in 20g. TL!

Als Jigs mag ich Owner Cultiva Gekito Strike, damit habe ich vergangenes Jahr auf Mallorca gut gefangen. Ansonsten Top Water wie Maria Rapido oder Popper wie Popqueen. Wirklich empfehlen würde ich dir aber die Lures von Bastardmakrele, also Bastardjigs. Eigentümer ist Andreas, ein Mahi Spezi, der kann dir da mit Sicherheit eine sehr kompetente Auskunft geben. @Bastardmakrele9229
