do I have to use comma or hyphen for the image tags? For example: woman shorts made of silk, (-) dark blue color
Hi , I tried to save a shopify image as JPEG, I used Tiny PNG and uploaded it to Shopify but somehow when I downloaded the image from the website it was still a PNG, how can I resolve this issue?
When renaming the images to something meaningful. How do you "Split" up the name. CammelCase, Underscore, dash or ? What is best for SEO
Hey Ed, I can see that the apple website images are now in jpg format. Can you confirm that?

i think its mixed but now they upload the laptop image for example with the same background color as their page so it looks the same.
Hi man, How about webp? That is better than jpg right?

It is better, but still not very widespread - not all platforms allow you to upload webp. Shopify does but you don't even have to do that because Shopify will automatically convert images to webp now. So you can go ahead and still upload jpg or png, and those images will be converted to webp when you view them in chrome, and for people with an older browser that doesn't support webp, they will see jpeg or png instead.
Can we use webp format image in Shopify. Because that are more less kb in comparison to JPEG or PNG

I don't think you can upload them. It's not an accepted format yet. However, Shopify converts some images to webp automatically.

Yes, you don't need to keep the app.
No matter what size image I upload say 400kb shopify compresses it to around 160k. Not good for gradients.
What software do you use to name the image file and also to edit and resize images before uploading to shopify
