I use chat gpt to create drawings of ornaments for use with a CNC to design nice decorative pannels for furniture.

Cool. I've been using it a lot lately for creating images as well, and figuring out how to do the prompts well in order to get good results. I bet it's really helpful for technical drawings.

When you started talking about drilling centered holes, I thought you were leading into making a wooden flute. Eons ago, Fine Woodworking had an article about that and drilling the long, centered hole was the most critical step in the operation, as I recall. Thanks for sharing.

I'll have to dig that issue up out of my giant pile of Fine Woodworking :) It's definitely true however, if it's not perfectly centered you can tell!
