I use to think my hobby was automotive. Since having my own shop I have realized the shop itself is my hobby. I learned a few things from this video. I loved the story with the water spicket and your dad. I can tell your shop has been a labor of love over the years.

First time watching his videos and this guy is a pioneer of the past and future I would love to sit down and talk with you about anything and everything

Aprilaire adds moisture to the duct work to rust it out. As a former service man for furnaces, Ive seen many an Aprilaire fall off a very rusted furnace plenum.

It's been too long since your last video- and the shop tour video was great comeback. For me it is always neat to see how a man has made up tools or organized his world to make it work. In the work I do, I sometimes end up in dad's old shop, or the husband who had past on and get a glimpse of what he was about. Many times, things are left as is for years. Even the radio left on at one widow's house in pop's old work shop. And we all know that all these things we made rarely have the same value to the family. Enough of that. I've seen a number of your videos and some were of things you made for the shop. What is amazing too is the old videos you had made of some of the old car projects- before you tube was even thought of. BTW I grew up in your neck of the woods. My step dad sold trikes and we went to ice races further down the lake when I was barely a teen. A few years back...Thanks for sharing and am looking forward to the next video. Tom

Thats one clean shop. In mine, all horizontal surfaces have become storage areas so i always have to clear stuff out of the way if i want to work on something.

Excellent video I am very much like you I like to have thing tricked out and I also like to have shop supplies. Just curious because there is thousands of dollars rapped up in misc supplies do you charge a flat rate on each customer to cover misc shop supplies so you can account for replacing things

Jeff , I left a message on your variable speed drill press unit from 5 years ago, thought I better leave another on a more current blog. Couldn’t find a message site via Facebook. Question: I want to install a similar variable speed box on my Rockwell variable speed drill press. It has a manual handle to adjust speed but has broken. Can I install a box on this unit and if so, should I pull any cams that may prohibit the engagement of the new option or should I not worry. Thanks , Richard, Snohomish , Wa

Not sure of what you have going there but the drive has such a speed range I never have to change speeds with that 3 to 1 ratio. I would recommend a bigger drive than required or you may see OL on the display. No biggie - There is an adjustment to slow the spin up but kinda grey on that these days where those drives were installed back in 2003 or 4.

I know these video,s are old. But do you still have any of those Novas left. If so can you contact me .

@@2jeffs1 Yeah, the whole 'Paul Is Dead' conspiracy is large. The weirdest thing I've seen is a photograph where 3 Paul's are on a boat together. Look that one up. It's like the 1978 movie 'Boys From Brazi'......Lol!

@2jeffs1 Check out @FFcossag and his latest work, OoCHTUUTVEE. Not entirely sure you'd like the content, but I was thinking you might find his camera work interesting with multiple cameras running to show the workflow while responding to 'live' stream chat. Be real youtube, be sober.
