Shop organization - Tool wall continues!

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

This week i’m carrying on the shop organization projects with a continuation of the tool wall. The video shows how I made a holder for a table saw sled as well as some clamp racks and pencil holders.

That small piece of accent in the "out" word is so much of a characteristic. Not meaning it in a bad way at all. Man, great videos! and the new storage area turned out pretty cool. It is by far my favorite wall in your shop hahah, the sled kind of compliments a certain design i cannot put my finger on, but balances the "composition" of the wall, instead of killing it as most wall hangers do.

I really like how your shop is turning out - it looks great, and handy. A couple of ideas I had watching to this point are; there by the tapes and pencils looks like a great place for a pencil sharpener ( I went years using the little manual twist on type, or a knife, but a while back found a cool antique school crank type, it's so cool and works better than the automatic in the house). Also, this looks like a great area for some squares, combination, speed, framing, and straight edge/metal rulers - laying out and marking stuff. I haven't seen yet, but will see, more of your "tool wall" videos, maybe these turn out to be predictions more than suggestions? We'll see.

I predict you will have trouble with the pencil holder. I think they will fall out the front too easily when you return them. Also can't put short ones in there. How did you mount the plywood to the walls? Did you just use tapcons and construction adhesive?
