I decided to stay away from the IWC for the most part right now. It's almost disgusting how many behave. I think it's less about Cody and Rock, and more about the writing, at least for me. If you want to do Roman/Rock, sure, have Cody and Punk eliminate each other at the Rumble, Rock comes in at Number 30 and wins. Some people upset, but nothing like this, and it makes sense. Plus no need to push Cody into the WHC picture (personally I want a heel WHC champion so Sami can take it from him at RAW in Montreal a week after Mania where I have tickets). This just feels like it wasn't HHH's call, but TKO's. We had it real good for a while now with narrative consistency, I just don't want that to change. If people complain about Game of Thrones Season 8's writing, then I can complain about my favourite soap opera. But you're absolutely right that we shouldn't make it personal or mean.

I don't think this is special to the wrestling community. It's in every community- hater trolls are ubiquitous. So I just try to find, in this case the wrestling content folks that I enjoy listening to, and that's where I invest my time. Right now that's not many, but you are one. The Avril Lavigne and Simple Plan tour I kinda want to go a little but I won’t be able to cuz there having a show in like November by me but I’m going to a Blink 182 concert for there last tour and also that day there’s a concert/festival the same day August 13th that I wanted to go to there is a bunch of shows I want to go to and don’t want to spend so much money on shows

The thing is the other creators want to get the story right, but they didn't

I have no idea where they're going with Cody/Rock/Roman or even if they know, but they're going to almost certainly send Paul Heyman out there on Friday to sell it to the audience and there is absolutely *no one* on Earth better at doing just that. It's such a tall order, that whether he succeeds at bringing the audience around on Friday night or not, we are in store for one epic master class in promos.

I think the main thing is that people are invested in Cody's story and the build up for 2 years then the rock comes in and people are upset seemly the rock taking Cody's spot. Tbh let's see what the press conference has to say

I think the IWC gets a really bad wrap most of us are really passionate about the product i think theres a very vocal minority on all sides that make the normal fans look bad. Its one think to disagree with someone and sometimes things might get heated but thats human. There are other toxic wrestling fans who just go straight to personal insults and threatening people and not even hearing anyone out. I do think theyre not the majority of fans but the wrestling community is so big that even though its a small percentage its still a lot of people who are very toxic.

I love the Rock/Roman match, I am though disappointed with how creative went about setting it up and from reports backstage about how it came about also upsets me. It has gotten to the point where I am no longer interested in seeing that match, just because I feel in a way cheated, but also I feel a lot sympathy for Cody, both for his character being undermined on TV and his work as a person being neglected. I find it hard at this point to get excited about a Rock/Roman match, when I know that a man who earned the right to be in that spot has been forced to take a back seat, it feels unjust.

Also the same people offended when being called a MARK, which they clearly are... It's fictional story line, relax and enjoy it's entertainment.
