I always *hated* how they treated Lita when she retired, that was so infuriating. Chyna and Eddie was unreal, may they both rest in peace. I absolutely loooved Chyna's theme "9th wonder of the world" and the firework bazooka she came in with. She made think of Xena: Warrior Princess Stephanie McMahon turning heel on her father was one of the best heel turn of all time, it shocked everyone and yet, it made ALL the sense in the world.

I love the list. I like yourself am a 90’s baby, But if I could just make one small change to it. For my list, In place of Mark Henry/ Ms. Elizabeth I have Daniel Bryan and Brie. Also thanks for the info on Mark Henry.

In kayfabe, for me it has to be Macho Man Randy Savage and Miss Elisabeth, especially when you throw in the whole jealousy/sort of love triangle angle with Hulk Hogan (The Mega Powers Saga, WrestleMania IV - V). Then there was that time Savage was with Sensational Sherri until they got back together and married at SummerSlam 91. It apparently wasn't a very healthy relationship behind the scenes, but on screen, it was some great storytelling for 12-year-old me.

For WWE couples I think your choices were solid. I would have put Stephanie and HHH first but your explanation for why you personally top the list with Matt and Lita. The greatest wrestling love story of all time was not in WWE. It was in ROH in the 2005-2008 time frame and it was Jimmy Jacobs and Lacey. It sucks that most wrestling fans haven't seen any of this. But to really appreciate it for all it was it worked best for fabs who saw every bit of it. It was the most perfect merge of pro wrestling and soap opera ever with brilliant story telling. The saga dragged on for several years and it was the most perfectly done wrestling love story ever in my opinion. When it began Jacobs and Lacey were a lower mid card mostly comedy act. By the end they were legit main events in ROH. It's very hard to find any if the footage online anywhere. I have mist of it, I'll have to take a stab at editing a small amount of it together.

the generation in this list my god this could be amazing to have a talk about this with you, there is soooo many more and i love this list.

I like the honorable mention someone did for Stevie Richards and Victoria. I lived them. I also could have seen a kit more of India and Noble from the same time frame. There have been some great soap opera storylines that didn't create great couples but we're still awesome storylines. The one that comes right to mind for me was Trish Stratus and. Mickey Jane's which was awesome. And there have been some couple pairings that had no love in the study at all but just had amazing chemistry together. The one that comes to mynd for me was Sandman and Woman (Nancy Be out) in ecw. There was no romance or hooking up ever alluded to with them. It was presented as all business which it has to be because Woman was so ridiculously out of Sandman's league and a romance just wouldnt make any sense for Sandman's character. But despite all of that the chemistry between these two was impossible to miss. in some ways the current pairing of Rhea and Dominick is comparable. There's just an incredible chemistry that makes time stand still when their ring entrance occurs. sandnan and Woman had that. Another honorable mention ruin from the UWF way back in the 89s when Missy Hyatt left John Tatum for Eddie Gilbert. I think the tension was so easy to buy into because that exact storyline that was airing on tv was going on for real in real time in real life. And Missy was the hottest female in the business in the late 80s. I won't tolerate any differing opinion on thar.

I loved the rated r superstar and lita part of the story with the Matt and Lita. Your lineup was spot on for me to being I was born 1991. The Matt/Lita and Edge/Lita was my #1 best love story line I can remember like yesterday. I honostly forgot about the Mae and Henry though out of those 5. I remember the Vicki Guerrero bouncing around men alittle more.

What kept me from loving the indie hartwell dexter romance is that indie hartwell’s character didn’t even act like the kind of person that would be with someone like Dexter. I would watch her entrance and be like your the chick that’s with Dexter why are you coming out acting like a normal person giving a thumbs up for ? 😂 i just like shit to make some sense.
