Shonda Rhimes is a genius with all the great series she has written and produced. Black children need to know that black people are behind and at the forefront and centre core of some of the best that series, construction builds, fashion, mathematicians at NASA, astrology, medicine, music, sports right now (and before). Cos what they are taught in school is a very biased side of history, an entitled me culture. To not tell the truth at the expense of making one culture look good by making the story one way without telling the whole truth and ensuring a level playing field is like praising oneself and undeserving of glory wrapped up in narcissistic entitlement and is what history appears to be. We all need to recognised that all cultures contribute equally and deserving of equal glory especially when a culture comes from constant beaten down and still create their own level playing field against all odds. yeah for Shonda Rhimes.
