Dude walking on the trail yesterday this dude walked past me going like 8mph dude he looked so corny but that stuff isn't easy to do for a long time it's basically like a jog... but just dorky

I always say comedy shouldn't be smart, it should be funny, when everyone in the audience is roaring with laughter after a joke about socks you know you have a real comedian. Paul Foot is an example of a smart comedy stand up performer who most of the time struggles to get genuine roaring laughter, because most of his jokes fly over people's heads, his awkward look and his corkiness is what made him stand out as a comedian but not his routines, which is a shame as his routines are so funny but need too much mind work.
