Boris Sheen I wouldn't be surprised if he believed that everything that he said in each moment he said with absolute earnestness. There's no way to speak the way he does in the stream-of-thought manner that he does without believing it. @@yugen I'm pretty sure his stories are true, he has done some crazy shit and is in his 50s so I wouldn't be surprised. He huffed glue, diesel and shit, did lots of drugs and booze so I can totally believe him because he has been a fan of H3H3 podcast and wants to tell all his stories at once. It gets to a big blur when you lived in a daze for long enough, I can relate somewhat.

Saying “Rocket surgeon” in that sense is a tongue in cheek way/self deprecating way of answering the question because just calling it “rocket surgery” makes the person sound dumb to begin with. Since the question was calling into question his intelligence, it was actually a witty and clever way of answering.

Interesting take. Thanks. In an attempt to add, did you hear how many times shoenice told his stories with taking some sort of hit (others not honoring his being)? At one point he addresses it, then holds up some TOILET PAPER with H3H3 on it and then just consumes it. On the level of not paying attention, nutz, right? If you go beyond Ethans self aggrandizing and narcissism you can actually see this man handling the disrespect and misrepresentation by LITERALLY eating it. Shoenice is unique, different, bizarre, a different take, self created...almost feels lonely to an extent? Who are those cats/people that give him support? Can I dig deeper into shoenice even though Ethan is evolving to take on more elitism/popular-support-giving-him-his-lack-off-self-assurance? Is Shoenice too much? mmmm, I can see where people are coming from. This is NOT funny, this guy is really sick. As someone in recovery this is indeed real. He needs a wake up call but unfortunately some people never get that wake up call. He’s in serious denial. He’s at a point where he will either get help or die. Sad how he is hating his family because they want him to get help. I have to agree with him with AA and NA though, I’ve personally experienced AA and NA and it’s not for everyone. And for people like me who are more introverted it wasn’t right and made my recovery harder. I also disliked the fact people would start offering medical advice like to stop taking certain medications. Which could end up killing someone. And it was really cliquey. And judgmental.
