I heard a story that Gloria Swanson was so devoted to healthy eating, she would brown bag her meals to awards dinners. The bags were discreetly given to the wait staff and she was served the food she brought.

To be honest, that's genius. That's almost like how there are dietary considerations taken into account today at fancier dinners, but Gloria was ahead of her time (plus honestly, I feel like a lot of richer foods, like steak, literal meat and potatoes etc., were on par for the course for 'fancier' food at the time. I'd also probably bring something lighter along to eat as well.

As a young mother, I was extremely active too. I was a housewife with 2 little boys for 10 years, and then went to nursing school. I cleaned house every day, walked, rode bikes with my boys and before they were old enough to help with cutting grass, I'd do it a lot of times because I liked making my husband's life easier. He was a hard worker and had a lot of stress on the job. I laid his clothes out, brought his coffee to him before he got up, fixed his lunch, and his dinner was ready when he got home. I don't know why I'm telling y'all all of this, but it was good life. I'd like to try that perfume!

@@BrooklynBaby100 LOL. I met my first husband on a blind date and we married 2 years later. I was18, and in my first year of college and really hadn't dated much before I met him. As far as dating advice, just be your authentic self, expect to be respected and if you really like the guy, don't text and call all the time or watch him on social media! Guys don't like that as much as girls do! Play a little 'hard to get', because guys don't like being chased. Remember, you're worth it! Thank goodness we didn't have all of that back in the 60's or I'd have driven myself crazy!😂 My first husband and I were married for 30 years, when he suddenly passed of a heart attack. My sons and I were destroyed. I never wanted to get married again, but God had other plans. Four years later I met my second husband online! Don't laugh! We both said that God put us in each other's path. We got married and had 12 good years together. He became ill with cancer and I lost him 2 years ago. Whether it's suddenly or expected, both are devastating . I'd better hush or I'll end up in a pile of tears! Sorry for the novel!

Personally I eat in a surplus on Saturday and sundays but I up my steps on Saturday to to help offset my higher calories and it has worked great for me.
