My great grandpa smoked in childhood due to hunger and poverty. He'd find cigarettes in gutters...we have so much to be thankful for.

In her first workout book Jane Fonda talks about how when she was a young starlet she was going through all kinds of diets and the studio system were wanting her to look how they wanted her to look

I know it sounds weird, but the milk and egg combo Marilyn was feeding herself is excellent for an active body. It also helps reduce hunger when you ingest high protein foods like eggs and whole milk. Eggs are very good for the body.

But... How would I ingest that in a way that didn't gross me out? How do we make that palatable, bc I'm willing to jump on that bandwagon.

@@vanesavaldez626 E. coli in eggs is extraordinarily rare these days, you could eat raw eggs every day and it would be decades before you’d contract anything.

Really interesting video Laura! OMG! That tapeworm thing completely freaked me out! 🤢🤮 Would love to see a Film Noir video, and perhaps a Silent Film Era makeup video!

During this last Christmas I caught White Christmas on TV, I was shocked again how thin Vera-Ellen was. It prompted me to google her and wow what a story she had. She may be of interest to you. Thank you for another wonderful video!

I love your content but I also think you have a really relaxing, pleasant voice- honestly you could probably post a video reviewing vacuum cleaners and I’d still watch 😂 I do enjoy the diet videos though, particularly trends from the 40s-60s. I just find it fascinating.

Humphrey died of lung cancer in his 50's or 60's. Judy"s mom gave she and her sisters uppers when they worked on vaudeville. Sad.

There was a diet still current in the 80's, known as the Barmaid's breakfast or diet which consisted of black coffee and cigarettes.

So sad the things they went through just so they could look a certain way and work. I remember the day Elvis died. I was at my friend's house and we heard the news on the radio. I got so upset that I had to go home. I was a big Elvis fan, and we even used to eat those banana peanut butter sandwiches all the time. I don't really eat them anymore though. Interesting video Laura :)

Dearest Laura. Please remember Elvis was genetically pre disposed to heart disease. Obviously his diet didn't help. I agree it would horrify to be host to a tapeworm 😮 Thanks for this very interesting video. Love from Corinne. Enland❤
