Meanwhile, I’ve just back from a walk on the beach, which is 2 minutes from my lovely house, with lovely neighbours in a village where the biggest crime was a bike being stolen 5 years ago but it was a tourist that did it. Hope your not too miserable in your little enclave of despair.

In the late 1980’s I knew a girl who had close a friend in Notting Hill, every year she would travel up and stay with them for the carnival and each time come back saying how fantastic it was with a brilliant multicultural atmosphere. Being a really close friend i said great can I come along as well next year, to which she said “oh no, if you go the chances are you will be stabbed” 😳 Apparently it was fine for a white girl who lives out of town to come along for the day but if you are a white male you are unwelcome and be a target of hate Looking at the new news it sounds like it had got a hell of a lot worse.

cultural enrichment at its finest once again

I lived in Ladbroke Grove back in the 1970s ( near Nottinghill for those not familiar with London). Even in those days there was a lot of crime. I was mugged there once with two guys hitting me with a cricket bat from behind. London has never really been safe. Not even in Victorian times- read Dickens. It is probably worse now. I now live in Texas where it is perfectly safe!!!

Somebody must know who these people are, they need to be named and shamed, this is such ridiculous behavior.

I'm sorry to say, but this demonstration of the complete disregard this "vibrant and colourful " demographic has towards the rule of law and the general public as a whole is just not shocking anymore. It should be, of course, but as the Mayor of London said, "it's all just a part and parcel of living in a diverse modern and inclusive Capital city" I'm completely heartbroken and sickened at the destruction of a once outstandingly brilliant world loved city.

There is Carnival in London. I thought it only existed in Brazil, the original Carnival, with carnival floats over 10 meters long, parading with performances and families enjoying it. But they copied it in London and brought the zombie apocalypse. It doesn't matter; the only Carnival that works is in Brazil. The difference in public education is enormous.

Imagine this happening at Bridgewater Carnival....it would never be held again.

Why would anyone want to attend this is absolutely beyond me.

6 out of 10 think the majority is wrong. One solution could be that the people are allowed to vote on all issues, where the people decide for themselves which issues they want to vote on, and that the media's job is to print out which issues you can vote on for the day. immigrants shall not have the right to vote in these matters. Why not? Well, because if a group of people other than Britts are allowed to vote in Britain then we don't have democracy, we instead have chaos.

the event should take place in a restricted area (a park, stadium,...) with security checks to go in and out and of course proper infrastructures like toilets, not sure if you heard what happened in certain people gardens.
