I recommend watching Daniel Haqiqatjou's video comparing Islam and Judaism with an orthodox rabbi. Jewish theology today is similar to Islam but not bc it was always like that. Turns out, Judaism got distorted again and again bc the Jewish worshippers kept adapting their religion to the local religions of non-Jews; it got to a point where it was literally polytheistic. But then came a golden age under Muslim rule for the Jews. Maimonides, their second Moses, took a lot of influence from prominent Muslim thinkers when correcting the theology and worship of Judaism.

No, you are wrong. Almighty Allah created people and gave them the right to choose their path. A Muslim MUST be good: his prayers keep him from doing indecencies and abominations. If a Muslim commits an unfairness to someone, he has to repair this and It's never too late to do it, as long as he doesn't die. One can make du'a for the damaged person (such: Oh Allah, forgive his sins and have mercy on him and his parents in this life and in the hereafter) until one feels he repaired the damage. This is proper to Islam!!!

Somehow, this story doesn't ring true to me.
Who is Bob? I think you should not tell stories to people if you can not refer to the person. It would sound made up even if it is a true story. And posting it would have a negative public opinion when your aim was the opposite
