@@thundercut4963 I did. Whilst there are indeed similar narratives, there are also significant contradictions. So I’m confused as to which of these Abrahamic religions is the correct one. The Sahih Hadiths like Al-Bukhari & Muslim have texts and descriptions that is truly shocking. Don’t get me wrong, the Old Testament (pre-Jesus) also has several disturbing verses involving killing women and children & slavery. But I take refuge from the fact that that was the old covenant just for the Israelites & the way Jesus lived bought in a new covenant that we all had to obey.

If only everyone could be this open minded to hearing about Islam.

First of all I request all muslims not to equate your god Allah with that of YHWH. One of the core belief system of Judaism and Christianity is TEN COMMANDMENTS. Muhammad never preached ten commandments and he violated all the ten commandments during his life time and hence he is not a prophet from sematic tradition. This means YHWH is not the same GOD that Muhammad preached, but Allah, an Arabic God. Muslims shudder when asked about their prophet's rotten immoral personal life(Marrying of 6 year old Aisha and raping her at age 9, marrying foster son’s wife Zainab, brutal killings of poets, brutal killings of Banu Qurayzah tribe(about 900 males), raping Safiya after killing her father and husband w/o “Iddah”, keeping about 11 wives, kept and traded about 20-25 slave women for sex etc.). That is why Muslims try to own the prophets of Judaism and Christianity. In Quran, Muhammad, the prophet of Satanic Allah, actually twisted the stories of some Bible characters and distorted them to tarnish Judaism and Christianity, in order to preach about his Allah and TO CONFUSE his followers. Islam has nothing to do with Judaism and Christianity. Islam is only a leftover of the Arabic tribal pagan polytheism of Makkah and Allah is only one of the 360 dieties of that paganism, who is still sitting on the corner of Kabah - Hajarul Aswad. I would like to add the deed of Allah swt - Quran surah 33 aya 56 - Allah & his angels send blessings upon Muhammad & his household ( Ahlulbyt ) - We can also take part in the deed that is done by Allah swt imagine the reward, If Allah is doing something its perfect with no flaws. - In the law of Allah swt prayers, fasting, sacrificing animal or any deed for Allah is not acceptable without Prophets household his progeny like Hussain buried in Karbala.

What I love most about the story of Mary in Quran is that it focuses on Mary and her story and her suffering, highlighting her devotion and sacrifice in the path of God, not like it’s counterpart from the New Testament or even the Hebrew Bible, it’s just amazing how Quran spoke about those aspects that most of the other books didn’t really give attention

Hope you read about Mary in the Bible. Where did Muhammad get that information? He was dead before the Quran was written. And from what I read the quran was destroyed and parts were saved on leaves ect. but much was not found. So who inserted what was missing? They made up what was missing? they had had to.

​@@user-cd9gk7lj9pThe Quran wasn't destroyed. It can't be. It is preserved till the end. its protection is done by Allah himself. It is in the heart of the Muslims who have memorized it even before it was written. Whenever a new verse or chapter came to Prophet Muhammad PBUH , he will eventually memorize it so the one who wrote it and so the other Muslims. It was written on leaves, backbones. when the book was compiled into a book after prophet Muhammad (PBUH) died...the one with who memorized helped to compile it and for each verse there was a certain amount of witnesses just to make sure they are correct and there is no false verse that someone is making.

@@achmadyazir1039 yes sir, i do agree with you that Adam is indeed the first man and the earthly father of all humans; and it is the bible (specifically The Torah) where this information is first written down that we have access to today. but sir, if you do not mind the question why is it that muslims say that the bible has been corrupted ? when the quaran borrows so much from the bible such as father Adam and Moses and many other characters from the bible. in my very uneducated opinon it would seem that the original source is the bible and if has been corrupted would definitely need proof of this corruption of the bible. so if you don't mind a second question sir; what is the proof or evidence that the bible has been corrupted ?

It is true that there are some similarities between the Qur'an and the Bible, but this does not indicate that later prophets plagiarized from former ones. It merely reflects the common source, which is the Creator of mankind, and the continuance of His basic message of monotheism. Moreover, there was no Arabic version of the Bible in existence at the time of Prophet Muhammad. Not only that, but our prophet, prophet Mohammed peace be upon him was illiterate, thus, he could not be credited with composing or editing the revelations, and suspicion that he learned what he preached from earlier scriptures is eliminated. I hope this answered your question brother.

@Amelia أميليا I didn't mentioned any religion for this specific reason, I just said may Allah (even jesus referred to God as "Alāhā, Elâhâ,ʾilâh" which is not very different from the Arabic Allah) guide her to the right path. Blinding yourself with ego.

The jews believed in purely one god. The christians believed in 3 god in 1. With a human as god, sometimes this human mother is also god, and a holy ghost is god. And a father/god as god. All of these gods equal to one god all having differents body and power. But all had powers but not equal. The muslim believed in purely one god. There are no other gods beside this god. Who is this allah that Mohammed worshiped? We read that in the year 624 AD Mohammed changed the direction of prayer to the Kaaba. At that time the Kaaba was a place of pagan idol worship. So Mohammed bowed down in worship to a shrine for pagan idol worship where some 360 idol gods were being worshipped there at that time. We know from the Bible that our God of the Bible, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob would never have condoned that one of his prophets would have bowed down in worship to a shrine for pagan idols. So clearly Mohammed’s allah is not the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. So who is Mohammed’s allah who is happy to be worshipped as “the god” amongst some 360 pagan idol gods? All we know for sure is that Mohammed’s allah is not our ONE TRUE GOD of the Bible.

But I am interested in what Mohammed did according to the islamic sources. We see that Mohammed bowed down in worship to the Kaaba when the Kaaba was a shrine dedicated to the worship of 360 pagan idol gods, just like the pagans did. We know Mohammed did his pilgrimage to the Kaaba just like the pagans did when all these idol gods were being worshipped there. We know that Mohammed kissed the black stone just like the pagan idol worshippers did. We know that Mohammed walked around the Kaaba just like the pagan idol worshippers did. As the saying goes, if quacks like a duck and it waddles like a duck it must be a duck. Mohammed worshipped just like the pagan idol worshippers did and that makes him an idol worshippers. And of course one is still a monotheist if one worships only one pagan idol. But that does not change the fact that Mohammed bowed down in worship to pagan idols which makes him an idolater. Why am I a Christian? Simple God promises all who follow Jesus eternal life in heaven. And we know that God always keeps His promises to us. So why do you follow Mohammed my friend?

Simple God promises all who follow Jesus eternal life in heaven. And we know that God always keeps His promises to us.' Where did u get that promises about who follow Jesus will get eternal life in heaven? Because u never gone through the process to confirm that promises?
