I experienced the same at Majorda beach 3 days back,it is oil and soap

That's a annual phenomenon. Just before the onset of monsoon till July end it happens in patches. Local fisherman rush with pager net as it is favourite spot to catch Xevte. Locally it is called as Darya onkta ( vomiting).

This is a oil spillage from one of the tanker ship maybbe the release the oil from certain mile aways from the shore.

Why don't the authorities preempt this oil spillage since it's an annual occurance at the start of monsoons by keeping an eye on all the ships that are near the shore. They could use modern technologies like drones and naval speedboats to catch and penalize those responsible for the pollution.

Not only in colva beach it can be seen in varca beach also... Last year n this year also we had seen this incident in varca beach.govt should take action on this

Yep very disappointed just came goa today we were in colva beach for sometime I noticed this thing the water was disgusting man
