Shnootz - Reaction Video (Sinéad O'Connor - You Cause as Much Sorrow)

What's happening, folks! I'm back with another Sinéad O'Connor reaction from her 1990 album I Do Not Want What I Haven't Got, and this time we listen to "You Cause as Much Sorrow," a song with some deep and low singing from Sinéad and lyrics I was trying very intently to follow, though I first heard "dad" instead of "dead," though I realized it was the latter as the chorus rolled through the second time. In any case, join me as we return to Sinéad. Cheers!
Also I run a Patreon featuring extra content of different types, so anyone interested in supporting what we do here on KZread and getting early-access to video-watchalongs and reactions blocked on KZread, as well as behind-the-scenes videos, video-reactions, and blooper-reels from my videos, can go here: / shnootz

A song by Sinéad is always emotionally tough to hear. All the pain she went through in her life so well expressed in her lyrics, so sorry for her.

This is another song about her troubled relationship with her mother who has heen a burden to her both dead and alive. It’s set in a much lighter tone than Troy, but the subject matter is basically the same.

It's the trauma inflicted by her mother that still is causing her problems. In last chorus, she says "Why must you always ask me? Why can't you just leave it be?" ... I think that's referring to other people both interviewers and fans that continued to bring up her abuse which only served to not allow her to move beyond that more easily. Also in second verse, she says "I never said I was tough, That was everyone else. So you're a fool to attack me, For the image that you built yourself." Again, that seems like calling out the press for portraying her as angry and tough when she describes herself "I really am soft Yes, tender and sweet".

I liked this one, enjoyed hearing Sinéad sing lower (of course) and the dark vibes. 😉 But the best thing in this video is Lucca, of course. 😻 Particularly after 8:25! Aawww, just look at her looking at you! ❤ And what a cool cat, completely undisturbed by all the fires going off outside. 😎 Adorable. 😊💞

Lucca is definitely the star of my channel, no doubt. But she loses in the adorable category to you, babe. 😍❤️‍🔥
