This song is in my top 5 BC songs, easily. It's not just the fade out, but those lyrics, "why are faces filled with anger that should only shine with youth?" Dammit Stuart! You're always trying to make me cry or something. This song and Talk Talk's "Happiness is Easy."

I often find that fans of big country also love talk talk
You reminded me of a joke on a Music/Comedy quiz show. They showed a clip of The Skids, then the host said "Stuart Adamson used to be a Big Country member, and yes, we do remember".

"Ships" from the "No Place Like Home" album is very much worth a listen, it's different from their other stuff being Stuart with piano accompaniment, but a phenomenal track kzread.info/dash/bejne/nIyYx7SgaaesZbA.html
