It's actually Dame Shirley Bassey pronounced Bass E and she's still very much alive and brought out an album last year age 83 you can listen on her social media accounts,and she never recorded Golden Eye she did however record Three James Bond themes Gold Finger, Moonraker and Diamonds Are Forever, she's a great sense of humour just like her long time friend Sir Tom Jones both Welsh neither had singing lessons,Dame Shirley had some help after her daughter died suddenly back in the 1980's other than that nothing no auto tuning nothing just pure talent and an exceptionally nice lady. Oh and Queen sang Big Spender one which Dame Shirley recorded as she was friends with Freddie and the rest of Queen

Shirley Bassey was awesome she had true diva talent and such an amazing set of lungs coupled with really theatrical performances she is the only Artist that ever sang 3 Bond songs.

I saw her live in concert decades ago when she came to New York City... It goes without saying that it was one of the greatest musical memory of my life... She is truly amazing & unmatched...!!! 👍🏼
