I think Penkin mentioned in an interview how he wanted Shinsu to “flow like water”? Well this *ABSOLUTELY* checks that box. What could be more perfect for a theme for a such a complex and mystical power as this? A placid element, Shinsu lingers in the air, being constantly breathed and keeping the residents of the tower alive, as shown with the first half of the piece, where it ambiently fluctuates in the background, mysterious vocals representing its ancient and mystical power. But the same Shinsu that is used to keep the Regulars alive... is what they use to kill. The latter portion of the song after the beat drop represents how even though it does flow elegantly like water, Shinsu can truly be used as a force of chaos. The regulars use it as a weapon in combat situations, bending it into different forms and shapes to their pleasing. But it still remains the same substance with the same origin, as do the ambient vocals in the piece. They are present in both halves, tying everything back to how dynamic a substance Shinsu is and how it can grant one life... and also death. (I’m also just a total sucker for vocal ost so I loved this the moment I heard it in the show.) Love this piece! Kevin Penkin and feeding|ear, delivering once more.

It sounds almost heavenly, fitting enough considering Shinsu is a "Divine Water". Gosh i love this OST so much.

One of my greatest sources of entertainment in this season was the soundtrack.

Yeah and the cause is Kevin Penkin otherwise ToG's soundtracks would be just like a normal animes ost, comparable to GoHS's themes. Of course not saying that there aren't good composers. e.g. like Re:zeros etc.

Okay this is not soundtrack related but I just realized that Yu Hansung is literally one of the most important tower of god character next to Rachel. Without this coffee maniac, the whole story will be different starting season 1. We wouldn't have Jue Viole Grace's story. 😳

Sure he is. Remember back at the Hidden Floor Arc, his data knew V was. His entire arc is tied to everything that's going on since pre-Bam's arrival to the Tower.

I don’t care what anyone says, for the 13 episodes permitted for the first season of this VAST story, they did a DAMN good job. So well directed. And the anime onlys have a good enough idea of what’s going on. Hopefully the ratings are high enough that they can justify extra funding for more episodes in S2.

“Well directed” complete lie you don’t tell a vast story by rushing scenes and character moments. They even charged the tag game to where people got confused on the rules. Also they lied about crunchyroll ever saying it was getting a season 2.

This gives a feeling that doesn't exist, Tower of God has one of the best soundtracks ever, with amazing pieces that make you feel a new and unique emotion mixed with nostalgia, sadness, happiness and mystery. I love Tower of God's soundtrack a lot, thank you Kevin Penkin and feeding ear.

Your work elevated to another level what was already perfect, the animation of the Manhwa. Not exaggerating when i say that i fell in love with ToG since the first episode because of the incredible atmosphere the music created with the amazing story.

Man TOG had the best OST this year for sure so serene.

God level ost confirmed!!! Transition aka tease from ~ 3:00 to 3:21 gave me crazy chills. That was just like waiting for an epic breakdown and getting all hopes fulfilled tenfold !? The faster pace (dnb/dub) melody fits so perfectly for the fight scene in anime.
