Shinjuku Restaurant Tour Experience | Sushi, Wagyu, Tempura in Tokyo ★ ONLY in JAPAN

Ойын-сауық

Eating out in Tokyo is an adventure, especially in Shinjuku - Tokyo's busiest area with over 3.5M people going through Shinjuku Station daily! There are over 1500 restaurants around the station serving food like Sushi, Wagyu Beef, Yakiniku & Shabushabu, Tempura, Yakitori, Ramen and with so many options, it can be very hard to pick a good one, especially if you don't speak Japanese.
This time, I'm with Sho of Magical Trip who will share his local knowledge on Shinjuku and its restaurants, Japanese cuisine and the deepest parts of the city.
Japan's Wagyu Beef Database:

★ Magical Trips is a service offering local tours and experiences in 14 different cities like Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto, Hiroshima, an authentic local experience in small groups that feels like your with friends. I've been on a few of these tours and loved it!

What did you think of the restaurant choices in Shinjuku? My advice: decide where you want to eat BEFORE you go or take the MagicalTrip Foodie Tour and let Sho @ShoMeJapan take you! Here's the tour I took: tinyurl.com/shinjuku-magicaltour Sho said he'd chime in with a comment soon. Mata ne~ John ^_^

I think it was a bit interesting, as either it was filmed in a way that showed all the places to be empty, or those werent popular by the locals. Also didnt really get the "real" Shinjuku wibe from the two first places in my opinion. Me personally would probably gone to other places. Could be the time of day as well. I do get a little sad seeing videoes from Shinjuku in general I miss the place, its chaotic and calm at the same time.

4:56 from my time around Japan, it's very common for Japanese locals to mix wasabi in with the soy sauce every day all over the country. Just not something done in a high-etiquette situation. Much like in the West it wouldn't be considered exactly high class to ask for ketchup with a $100 steak & side of frites.
