One of the best JRPG of all times. Very unique and mesmerizing. It's hard but it's a fantastic experience. I truly recommend it, even if the remaster could have been better in some ways. Sadly a lot of the comments, at least on Twitter, everytime Atlus tweets about the game, are mostly bait posts or people begging for Persona. And I love Persona, but dude, just let Shin Megami Tensei shine FOR ONCE, this is a vital moment for the future of the series between Nocturne HD and the upcoming SMTV. If you don't care or just wanna beg for Persona news/ports, do it in Persona related tweets.

For all the cTurne gaming newcomers, here's some tips -Keep the Pixie you get at the beginning -USE BUFFS AND DEBUFFS -This isn't Pokemon you can't keep the same team of demons for the entire game, remember to fuse constantly -Focus + Pierce + Freikugel = Good -Always be prepared and don't go into a boss blind, do research on a fight and build the right team -Mot isn't as unfair as everyone says he is, just use Zio spells and Dekaja -If you play the Dante version and he flips a coin, it'll always be heads -Complete the Kalpas before you enter the final dungeon for the chad TDE Now go out, punch some demons, and kill God

Fun facts: if you’re worried about playing SMT out of order, don’t worry as each game is self contained. If you still wanna play 1 and 2 before 3, it’s on the super famicom online(Japanese estores only) [must have Nintendo switch online on the account you’ll use to play it] {it’s also only in Japanese, good luck}

@@Kyle77878 Stop, your just wasting your time, most SMT fans don't care about what is the best series, they have the same basis with some different aspects (gameplay, story, mechanics, etc). So stop wasting your own time, use that time to play a REAL Shin Megami Tensei game, I recommend IV, Strange Journey and Nocturne.

On the 3ds there are the remakes of the two devil survivor games and also the remake of strange journey, all three totally worth playing

I'm ready to dive right back in and keep trying to beat this ground breaking game. Yet, I'm sure beating both parts of IV and PQ games might help me in doing so even if only a little bit since they require buff/debuffs and not only relaying on exploiting weaknesses.

I never got to play much of Nocturne due to having problems with my PS3. Really excited to pick up the remaster and do a full playthrough.
