I’m curious how vengeances new balance changes affect this fight. Stuff like the idun nerf, demons with powerful passives like beezlebub, combo skills like the Zeus/Demeter one , new strong demons like masakados, and stuff like omnipotent succession+Paraslene Blur…. Probably still gonna come down to adversity and murakumo spam tho

@@XIdivinityIX tbf, I can't say pre-nerf Idun's heal is medium. It's closer to -dyne spell levels in terms of healing amount, even higher than Mediarama. Now it's medium

Regarding Demi-Fiend casting Mediarahan, his AI only checks for his health dropping below half once, or at least that's how it worked in SMTVanilla. What that means is if you manage to seal or charm him at 50% and he tries to cast Mediarahan, he won't try it again. For this run in particular, the charm that procced at 17:17 should have been the Mediarahan he would have cast.

@@Kwame_Baroown you can seal him, I did it in one of my maaany attempts, but.. all of his demons now come with mediarahan - there's no getting around it now sadly

I thought it was only Pixie and Parvati, and those two only heal if you leave them around for too long which is why it's recommended to nuke them with extreme prejudice as soon as they hit the field. Got him to skip the heal on my first try. Got lucky with the seal using Naamah, Makajama and a luck build and it stopped him from healing, but there was a way to do it consistently using the Avian magatsuhi skill Accursed Poison because it's a guaranteed seal on Demi-fiend.

I was foolish enough to challenge him on hard difficulty without maxing out my team, and Nahobino stats, so this fight turn out to be pretty challenging for me, and took many tries to beat him. In the end having him on your team makes things slightly easier. Ps. I run strength based Nahobino build.

There's gotta be a trick. He did not pull his 1 shot move out. That usually wipes my team by turn 3-4. Is there a certain way to battle him to make his AI choice-making go into your favor? Never seen the demi-fiend let a battle drag on so long

Thats because he's codes to use it if you dont kill one of his allies in 6 of his turns. He usually gets 2 attacks a turn so you need to kill one ally effectively every 3 turns

How'd you get Ra and did I miss out on getting Yoko due to my alignment? Great video though!

The best part about this fight is when Demi Fiend said its fiending right and fiended all over the screen

If you hit start on the quest in the menu it shows you the next location you need to go to.

after the riders you need to fight mother harlot and trumpeter, you can easily google their locations on the map

Demi fiend, in nocturne since the beginning he fought against demons city level destruiction, defeated very powerful demons like Beelzebub, the four horseman of apocalypse, matador...He also defeated metatron who said that is the voice of God, outer level demons like Mot.. Defeated the conception, and Lucifer... Also having abilities like Freikugel, Javelin rain, Xerox beat, etc, and his infamous Gaea rage who is hit kill... Also, he is in Smt Apocalypse and Digital devil saga

Probably a little easier because level scaling doesn't suck so much but theres a bunch of stuff that was nerfed so it's hard to say

@@lulu_TheWitchBoy what the hell are you talking about? Did you not play the original? In Vengeance, Atlus made it to where stats mattered more than your level. So you dont have to grind that hard to do meaningful damage. You saying you needed to be max level proves that.

@@brandonmarsh7557 you’re gonna need be max level to have good stats to fight Demi fiend… majority of people are gonna fight in max level lol. So no idea what ur talking about- especially when grinding stats will take more work than leveling.

@@lulu_TheWitchBoyOriginal SMTV’s level scaling means that level matters more than stat. You can essentially have god stat at lower level but deal no damage to a demon with similar stat but at a higher level

@@kingteddieP4 Even with the nerf to Idun, Tao still heals less, the only advantage she had was the dekunda while costs more than the other two Rn the amount AoE heal rank is Mediarama > Matriarch's blessing > Golden Apple > Sakuya Sakura > Light of Order Before, Golden Apple heals more than Mediarama by a decent amount
