Same, when I was watching the episode, I just lost it at that part, I was crying like a baby man...

This is one of the best episodes I've seen from any anime I've watched. The production for this episode was unbelievable, from the animation, soundtrack, voice acting, and of course the story itself is top notch. They even went as far as playing with aspect ratios, color, and camera angles to add depth to the symbolism being shown. And there were some strong Evangelion vibes in Shin's nightmare. This episode was honestly better than what was in the LN simply because you can't do in a print medium everything that they did in this episode.

Having to wait for this episode when it first came out was insane. Also Shin recognizing Lena’s voice after just a few words, when it’s been so long since he last saw her and thought she was dead really just drove home how much of an impact she had on him.

I cried a bit during the Lena scene 😭 brought back the memories from the previous episodes and the OST is just perfect!!!
