Thanks for watching! This reel excels in long distance casting. I am able to flip/pitch/cast lures with EASE with the Exsence DC. There is really a different. I have a video that will be uploaded tonight where i am mostly fishing with this reel.

Would be great to get an in-depth comparison review on these two reels! :)

Will wait for your review vs the 21 Antares before deciding. Prefer the darker look and newer tech on the Exsence.

There have been previous exsence DC models. The most recent one, before the 2022, was the 2017 model. A lot of people are also familiar with the 2012 model.

Have you had a chance to see how it stacks up against the Antares DC yet?

I had both the antares dc and exsence dc, but i sold the exsence dc due the weight of the reel; as much look nice and comes with clicking audible drag sound, weight is a bit turn off for my taste, plus the antares can do everything the exsence can do and sometimes even better in some case, although i do highly recommend to those who in the market for these caliber type of reels; you can't go wrong with neither one of these reel at all

I have both and looking to get another of each

My favourite spinning reel is the shimano exsence. I’m not a dc guy I prefer daiwa zillion sv but I might have to pick up that exsence dc. It looks so nice with the all black. I’m going to wait for your in-depth review and hope it’s soon.

Isn't that a 300 size spool?
