Same. And I just built Carmen for this reason. Considering this guy instead of her. But reanimating big dumb creatures isn’t my thing so need to find weird value and synergy plays to be motivated to do so.

I love him so much, I built a angel deck and might built a graveyard deck also with less focus on angels besides a few His art is so good

I love him, but I'm sad he isn't Mardu because a lot of great blood token cards are red 😢

I’m glad he’s not only because I don’t have an Orzhov commander but I have a Mardu commander, so he fits perfect

A fun card would be Clavileño, first of the blessed. He makes your vampires into demons that make token demons when they die, so you get your angel to become a vampire then a demon. Just a fun idea

Unfortunately doesn't work unless you can also remove the finality counters, as they prevent death triggers.

The background card Agent of the Iron Throne would be great in this! Triggers for each creature and blood you sac!

Don't forget about Hex Parasite for the finality counters then some notable angels: Reya Dawnbreaker Adarker Valkyrie For that recursion.

I don't know if there are any good artifacts in the 99 but Transmutation Font allows you to T, Sacrifice 3 Blood tokens: tutor up an artifact and put it on the battlefield. Good for finding Hex Parasite.

Not exactly, you need to sacrifice 3 tokens with different names so 3 blood tokens wouldn't work. But transmutation font also makes Clues and Foods. So it can still work as you intended except you'd have to wait two turns for it to have effect. And that's probably too slow in most decks. If your purpose is bringing out Maskwood Nexus then tutoring for it with Enlightened Tutor or any of the black tutors and then casting it for its cost is faster and the same total mana expenditure as Transmutation Font would be.

Thoughts on mana ramp or cost reducers with the high cost angels? Urzas Incubator comes to mind. Mana rocks of course. Anything else?

Isn't it possible to make this deck more performing? adding cards like abolisher or the one ring or other mana accelerators?

So, he turns them into vampire, and then I think one of the LCI turns vampires into demons. That's where I immediately want to go with this deck. To tell the angels fall from grace, into becoming a plague of the land, and rising up through the ranks and becoming an upper ranking demon. Will it be strong? Idk, probably a little but nothing too strong. Will I love it? You betcha! New age Vorthos.
