I remember last year she got like 2 points less internationally, compared to the domestic comeptions and i still think they overscore her a bit, at least on beam. i just hope she can reproduce these scores at worlds, cause she is going for sure

She downgraded huge at worlds for consistency as well. She only gave us her best on UB in EF at worlds. Even with not her best she was 2nd so stop the negativity.

@@doctor4011 this year they’re underscoring. Jade would’ve scored much higher with that FX routine as well as Simone. Many gymnasts got hammered for no reason on FX. At worlds gymnasts were scored a lot more lenient for worse quality

@@gymlandia4467Jade would score even lower internationally with the same routines and performance that she had on Friday. And although it’s true that compared to the past, American judges were scoring more fairly on Friday, again there were cases of inflating, like literally every single routine of Biles, especially that beam which was ridiculously overscored. Shilese on beam was also overscored.

@@gymlandia4467 now and this is not right, her difficult was lower by 0.6, her overall score by 2 points, so something dosen't add up with your logic

I still don't get why she didn't get a -0.1 deduction because of her head going out of bounds in 3:34!

I paused it to see it frame-by-frame. She never made contact with the floor. The OOB only applies if you "land" outside the perimeter. In the way that doing an L-turn where your leg goes over the line in the air won't incur the OOB deduction, her head won't if it doesn't "land" OOB.
