Shields out here showing there are levels in boxing. but credit to Marshall though she really did push shields all the way winning 3 rounds on my card but the GWOAT was just exactly that. THE GWOAT. What a fight night that was.

I so wanted to be there and I am a UK citizen and do support Shields. I could not get the tickets for the day. Marshall was so rude leading up to the day and Shields did not even need to do much to beat her. Those that booed her should remember this is sports and show support regardless of where someone is from. I hope Shields come back again. Marshall owes Shields an apology.

Savannah was not expecting Clarissa to have as much power as she did. *That was the game changer.* She was expecting to execute her usual game plan of starting slow, then walking her down after rounds 1-3. She was expecting to be met with arm punches, not power shots. This was the first time she had ever really needed to be defensively responsible. She found out early in round one that she couldn't just wail on Clarissa without being hit hard. Clarissa's speed did the rest and was the only defense she needed.

I disagree. Vanna just gave herself up too close. Thats really all. Rissa counted and took advantage of that mistake by the lengthier fighter. Rissas the 1 with the black eye. People act like vanna didnt tap her.

In Savannah's defence, she said 'if you fight like that against me...' Claressa was much better than she had been against Kozin, much sharper, more intense, better punch technique than I've ever seen her display before. She raised her game for Savannah.

@@fj3650 Everyone is different. You have boxers that build their opponents up. In MMA, George St-Pierre is a good example of that. It is much better for two reasons: First, you look less stupid if you lose and second, it makes the fight more interesting. Yes, some casuals might like to see a total domination but to me, nothing beats a good competitive fight. The best example of the opposite is Tyson Fury. How good is he? Well, according to his own words, he only won against bums… 🤔

Literally Baumgardner literally rocks Mayer with multiple counter shots not a single comment from any of the commentators, Mayer walks forward a little bit a lands 2 maybe 3 jabs and nothing else to follow up “Mayer is really bringing it Baumgardner and showing her she means business” or some BS, skysports is know for bias commentating jus look at the Spence vs Brook fight.

🤣 what fight were you watching? Clarissa Shields won, but it wasn't a beating. Clarissa had to work for every bit of that, and if it would have went to 12 rounds instead of 10, there was a good chance Marshall would have won that fight. But it was still a damn good fight and she deserved the win

Her corner told her to catch her breath..she had less stamina left than Shields..and since Shields' strategy was to outwork her opponent with faster, busier punches, Marshall still would not have gotten time to rest or somehow outwork Shields, while her corner telling her to dig down deep because they know she is fatigued and needs a round to rest.

I love the comradery. They are both champions and showed massive respect. Claressa's mindset is incredible, all she's had to overcome in her life has made her tough in the face of anyone. She talks a lot of crap but can respectfully back it up. I love the way she championed Savannah. The was very classy.

Yes, the announcers were all against Baumgadner, especially Johnny Nelson. He was nothing but a Hater. The commentators did not want to say ANYING positive towards Baumgardners' blows landed. They even omitted the 7th round action when Alycia cut Mayer and snapped her head back. Alycia was lightning Mayer up. It was totally biased, and it showed.

The 96-94 card is laughable. The fight was not even close.

The good thing about Boxing fans won't fight for you...Claressa is the GWOAT...

The title fight did its job… great fights co fight and main fight matter of fact all of the women did amazing❤❤❤

Boxers must work the back of the thighs, thus increasing their resistance and being able to resist the most intense fatigue and they must do upright rows with kettlebells or pulleys to work the trapezius, they must do Romanian deadlifts, crossfit and hip thrust to Work the back of thighs to increase your stamina......
