I really love the moment when he slides her off the horse/into his arms. The look that he has on his face is priceless. He's such a good man/a great husband to her. When he asked the doctor about his wife's injury I couldn't stop smiling. He wants to be the one to take care of Shiyi. When he teases her for moving her leg away from him...I laughed so hard. She's trying really hard to keep her distance from him but it's too late. She's already started to fall for him. Dongqing is funny. I love how she makes fun of Shiyi but in the end she's really happy that someone in the Xu family is finally treating her right. Lingkuan takes no responsibility for the family. The GM doesn't really expect him to do much so she allows him to indulge in his hobbies. The Xu family was near disaster/he doesn't have a clue as to hat really happened. Lingyi is furious because his brother appears to be irresponsible/now his wife is injured. Danyang is always standing up for her husband even when she doesn't understand the situation. I get her loyalty but she needs to understand that Lingkuan has other responsibilities than going to the opera so that he can entertain her. Hopefully Lingkuan will learn something after this disaster so that he can help his brother take care of the family.

I think they're trying to avoid agitating Danyang because of her pregnancy.

@@ThePrincessCH yes, but they treated her like she was fragile even before she was pregnant. She wasn't given any responsibility and was allowed to live however she wanted because she was some so-called princess. Danyang can be a great asset to the family especially to Shiyi. They need to ignore the GM...and continue as a family without her meddlesome manner.
