I always get overly excited to see Jamie pack for a roadtrip, like "Ohh should I pack my toothbrush as well or should I get one at our destination? I might want to bring my hair dryer, the nicer one, so we all can share…I hope sister Sarah's coming along with us!" etc. Then I imagine myself sleeping in the van in a deep woods! Very therapeutic. Thank you Jamie for always taking us with you guys! ☺️💙

Dogs are always hungry, but also when you share some food with them, it's a bonding thing, it shows them that you consider them part of the pack, important enough to share your precious food with. Dogs evolved to survive in packs, and sharing food reassures their primal survival concerns. Just like people, dogs need to feel a sense of belonging.

The big statue you passed on the A11 near Thetford, is a war memorial to British and American airmen who died in WWII.

It's actually WW1, but one side of pillar was later dedicated to the lives lost in WW2. I didn't know until I just looked it up, but the reason it's in that particular spot in Elverden is because it's where the borders of the 3 local district parishes all briefly meet. I always thought it was to mark the Norfolk/Suffolk border.

The end of the video proves that Jamie does not own cats. Mine get me up anytime between 4am and 5.30 to feed them (cat biccies) and by 6am the female is beating up her cardboard boxes in my bedroom as a declaration that it is high time to arise, also meowing up and down the corridor to the living room, while the male gives a yell in sympathy at intervals. But Sherps - not a single woof. What a gem he is.

I'm a Norfolk girl......I can't wait to see Sherpa in my home county!! ☺️👍👍👍👍 @09:25 That random statue is (courtesy of Wiki)....The Elveden War Memorial is a war memorial initially erected to the First World War dead. It is situated at the meeting of the three parishes of Eriswell, Icklingham and Elveden to which the monument honours. The names of the dead of each parish are listed separately on three of the sides of the column's base. To the original First World War listings there are also Second World War additions. The fourth (NW) side has a locked door that is used to access the inside of the column and via a spiral staircase to get to the upper parts of the monument. Small slits in the column's sides are used to light its interior and can be easily seen from the outside. It is a Corinthian column 127 feet (39 m) tall, made of Weldon Stone and surmounted by an urn of Portland stone. Edward Cecil Guinness, owner of Elveden, commissioned the architect Clyde Francis Young to design and build the column which took 2 years to erect and was completed in 1921. It was listed in 1954 and is now a Grade II* listed structure. War monuments of this type and height are rare and it is thought that the design was inspired by the 120 feet (37 m) Coke Column or Leicester Monument which is located at the relatively close Holkham estate in Norfolk. Perhaps in an act of one-up-manship, the Thetford monument is slightly taller than its close by companion but out of tact is shorter than Nelson's Column in London (144 feet (44 m). It is close to the A11, where there is a lay-by which can be used to visit the site.

Fuel isn't scarce where I live in the states. It's just pricier these days.

I'm new to this site, and I don't know anything about You Jamie. All that time You give to Sherpa, makes me think that You have to be single. At one time, when You bought the new mini car, You mentioned a daughter. If You are not alone, I think You must be the most fantastic, amazing person, to give as much of You as You do, to Your dog. I love it. I'm livlig alone,and I use all my sparetime with my dog,so I fully understand You. This was such a nice trip. Was holding my breath as you searched for fuel and felt the relief with you after the fill up. After not being able to travel due to the Covid issues it is a welcome treat to venture out with you and Sherpa. And seeing your part of the world is very interesting. Many things are similar to my area and yet different, too. So thank you for taking us as long and explaining and filming even the ordinary little things. You found a very nice snd comfy place to stay. Am looking forward to the next installment. Thanks again, hope the two of you had very nice time.
