1000%. You pay for the etiquette bullshit, just keep it natural and simple like this and you can’t go wrong. Golf needs to move in this direction instead of more unsustainable bullshit in the desert and mountains and places that should never have a golf course

I have to say, I watched a couple videos from season 1 and wasn't totally taken away with it. But this? This episode is something special. Keep doing this.

This was common on Scottish courses in remote places. Sheep grazed fairways and greens were sometimes fenced off. Machrihanish was like that. Iona is still like that.
This series is genuinely so heartwarming
I totally agree with the "no gimmes" rule. You're depriving yourself of the most satisfying thing in golf - putting the ball in the damn hole. Plus if it's such an easy putt, go ahead and make it.
Love this episode. Spent every summer at our family cabin on Rush Lake right around the corner from New York Mills. Brought back lots of great memories growing up playing golf in MN.

The intro is so lit
If you haven't already, you should try out Oakhurst Golf Links in White Sulphur Springs, WV. It was actually America's first organized golf club and you play with Replica Hickory clubs and balls. Sheep also graze the course there, too. Hitting a sheep is of course a penalty. It's a pretty cool little 9 hole course.
