Each year, golfers from all over the world travel to Akureyri Golf Club for a game of midnight golf. Set in beautiful northern Iceland, the Arctic Open is a tradition that takes full advantage of the perpetual sunlight during the summer months.
This is Adventures in Golf, presented by United.
Adventures in Golf takes you around the world to places you'd never think golf would exist. From the slums of Mumbai to a Louisiana prison, no adventure is too gnarly for host Erik Anders Lang. Watch for the golf, stay for the adventure.

I love how you just walked on the 9 hole course...literally one of the most stunning courses I've ever seen, there's not a person on it, and you just walked right on. That's as good as it gets right there.

I’m so down. I started getting into golf back in May and I went to Iceland back in March so I’ve been curious if they golfed there. I’ve actually heard of this course.

Shane Sweeney dude that’s awesome man. I recommend just renting a car and go for it! We were there for a week. There’s so much to see that we saw from the westfjords all the way to the east. Not really any of the north island.

That 9 in the second half of the video looked thrilling. I'm jealous. Grab some friends, a few beers, a few joints and have at it. With no people there you can tee off from anywhere you want. Golf heaven.

Being a VGA member, Military Golf was my favorite episode until this one. This episode reminds me of courses back in Montana, and the 24 hour days of Alaska. Awesome 🤙🏼

Every time somebody says "land of the north and the northern lights" or something along those lines, I get so happy that somebody is finally talking about how beautiful Canada is, then they go "Iceland" or, and this one actually makes me shake "Minnesota" and I get so sad.

If you want to play an amazing course i would recommend to come to one of the most northern links courses in the world , Lofoten links. Lofoten links is a golfcourse placed in northern norway, and during the summer the sun does not set from june to august. I think this would be a nice place for your show adventures in golf.

I went to Reykjavik last February and really wanted to play there but the course wasn't really playable. But such a beautiful location to play, right by the lighthouse in Reykjavik!

The problem with Iceland is the cost of everything. I dread to think how much it costs for a Round. The 9 hole Course was unreal. It looked beautiful and testing at the same time. Erik is one lucky guy.
