Ms. Easton had my admiration when she first hit the scene with Morning Train and For Your Eyes Only. Over the years she showed that she had great vocal presence and could handle many different genres with ease and grace. I was blown out of the water when I heard this song and quickly ran to Tower Records and bought the cassette single! Listen to her No Strings CD to get a true sense of her vocal talent. Thanks for posting!

This is the real talent and pride of the 80's.

Top Quality Talent, man! Sheena's vocal talent is UNDENIABLE, the song is awesome (great melody, funky groove), and Sheena has a great "Camera Face": Her facial expressions while performing translate REALLY well on camera: The knowing glances, the eye pops, she can really convey the meaning of a line with those expressive eyes! Great backing band, too!

Sheena has always been the real deal one of the best singers of the 90s! And she’s still can sing and perform!

Wow! I was wondering who that was. Chuckii Booker also wrote and produced some of the group, Troop, greatest songs.

Great live version of a great song. And Sheena is definitely not difficult to look at.

I don't believe she was underrated. She was up their with other popular singers of the era such as Belinda Carlisle. And of course she sung For Your Eyes Only for the James Bond soundtrack. I always looked forward to seeing her music videos while at the Army post main exchange and elsewhere. It was fun to be out and about and see music videos at TV stores. Good times!

this was one of the first & only women I saw as a kid and said to myself "damn that lady is fine!

She killed this

As quiet as it’s kept, Sheena was one of the best pure female vocalists of the 80s…one of those rare singers who did everything well. The problem for her, though, was that she wasn’t someone who could be put in a box and categorized, and the industry never knows what to do with folks like that. Boz Scaggs is another artist like that. Initially, she had the country-pop thing going on; then sort of a new wave; then she hooked up with Prince; and then it was on to L.A. and Babyface for this. They had her dressing like Pebbles’ little sister…and it wasn’t a bad look. She kicked ass, though, regardless of what genre she was working in.

A lot of singers now couldn’t even sing half those notes with some ‘help’.
