Must say the title really gives justice to the show's plotline. Xu Feng is a phoenix revived from his ashes at several occasions, Jin Mi is a frost flower who'll melt under the influence of phoenix but remains revived because of her frozen heart, when love comes between these two, her heart melts while his heart gets consumed in flames. Love binds them against all odds. I seriously love this shows and the dynamics of all characters. I remember crying a whole bucket at this scene. "When there's love in heart, what's the need of worry and fear" he died loving her until being resurrected while she also died loving him until being reincarnated.

El amor de Ye Hua por Quian Quian me pareció sublime! Pero muero por Ashes of Love! Es también mi preferido. Me gustó la Leyenda de Fey por el papel despreocupado y juguetón de Wang Yibo y Zhao Li Ying me gusta mucho, es tan pequeña pero proyecta mucha fuerza. I have never seen a show like this. During this scene when she passed away she told him the Phoenix that she loved him and then you could just feel the emotions oh my God I cried buckets. I guess that's why I love these shows so much is because you get so involved and the actors are fantastic what they do you can't help but feel what it would be like at that moment in time when something like that happens. It's a beautiful beautiful story. Thank you guys you're excellent

The lengths Run Yu is willing to go to force Jin Mi to stay with him are ridiculous. He loves her but he is obsessed with possessing her by any means possible and that came above her happiness. In fact ashes of love has some of the most jealous individuals i seen in CDrama. They went to lengths to obtain the affections of the ones they care for.

Does he really love her though or just went after her more so because he knew that his brother loved her and he couldn’t stand to see his brother win again? Phoenix and their uncle were the only two people in the “heavenly realm” that truly cared about him but he ruined that with his paranoia and jealousy of his younger brother. What little friendly affection that Jin Mi had for him in the beginning was also destroyed by him. To bad that instances like this where obsession and jealously goes to the extreme doesn’t only happen in fantasy land. People get killed in real life and bonds between friends and families are severed in some cases.

Phoenix was having side effect of the coldness since he revived which was making him weak, then he discharged his half cultivation to atone for the misdeeds of SuiHe.... So he was not in strong position ever after his rebirth...... RunYu did use half of his lifespan to save JinMi's life but he covered up that with QiongQi's power..... So in a way he was in full form...... If Phoenix was in full power then he might be able to win all alone.....where RunYu had no chance to stand before him...... Both of the bothers made mistake by fighting.... Their ego,resentment overpowered themself that they didn’t care about how JinMi would feel about the fight, who never ever liked the idea of fighting..... Their stubbornness resulted in Jinmi's death..... Their regrets after her death is very much justified....

In the book Phoenix was much much more powerful than Run Yu... Even his cold side affect didn't stop him from his almost victory over heavens... If Jin Mi didn't intervene, Demon realm would have won the war without much loss... So in my opinion Jin Mi saved the heavens from perishing in the war by sacrificing herself...

I think Run Yu only regretted the fact that he didn’t win Jin Mi for quite some time. It took him three years to come to grips with the fact that she was always in love with Phoenix even though he knew this before the incident occurred where Jin Mi made the biggest mistake of her life(didn’t want to put spoilers out).

@@amishasaha5975 I think Jin Mi’s purpose was to prevent casualties on both sides and the brothers from killing each other. From what that Doudou lady said she couldn’t protect one side. She was the catalyst and if she didn’t sacrifice herself, even if the Demon Realm would have won there would’ve been never ending battles to avenge the heavenly emperor death. Side note: I read a version of the book on Watpad but I believe there has to be a better translated version out there because scenes seemed to be missing.

Wow, even after 2 years I still cry seeing this scene. It still gives me goosebumps as if I was watching it the first time again.

It’s been a month and I am still rewatching it and clips. LOL. I seriously doubt that there will be a part two due to the fact that Deng Lun got into trouble with the Chinese government over tax evasion a couple of years ago. When they knock these celebrities down in Asian countries it seems that it is very seldom that they are able to recover their status/careers back. He seemed to be a great actor and a good singer IMO. I truly hope that he comes back though. I will be watching some of his other work in the meantime.

Oh Gosh so Xiao zhan still not has improve his acting… it has already got so many years n Also always have main role, it’s what i heard. I saw him in a guest role for many years ago n i was so disappointed. He couldn’t act/show his sad facial expression when the girl he loves die. So my tv partner asked me what is going on in that scene…was he sad n why is he staring like a robot. So Yeah deng Lun can act n it’s good. I Hope he’s allow to come back to work again.

I got really mad at RunYu this episode, I felt bad for him before but this is overboard. Jin Mi said she does not wish to go back, but he forces her to go back with a war and a massacre in the Floral Realm. RunYu says Xu Feng is making a big mistake but he is the one who is making the mistake. RunYu's obsessiveness caused this war and in the end, he caused Jin Mi's death because he couldn't let go.

The the love of truth, cause and effect relationships that propels phenomena, devoid of a being, that the saintess outlines, which is associated with wisdom, like the bigger truth of killing the tiger, as it can kill many, though killing is involved, but it is one to save many, the one killed becomes herself, stopping everything in its tracks, the war , the devastation.
