@@TheFlash10052 . I hail from a family of freedom fighters from Goa . There are books I grew up reading and enough inputs from forefathers and news paper articles from partition times that they preserved . Moral of the story some people read . Our opinions are based on our readings and research not borrowed opinions from some spokesperson. Moreover unlike rest of the India, goa got freedom from Portuguese in 1961. 14 yrs after India's freedom. And mr. Gandhi or his fellow congress men had zero contribution to it . Infact he ruined things for us further . So next time you think of making random comments kindly acquire some knowledge before you do so .

It’s very difficult to forget the place where one is born and lived through childhood. It’s pain my heart when I recall my childhood memories and how I had to leave it. It was a small village but gave me everything I needed.

My grandma's mom is from bahawalpur Pakistan.she came to india during partition when she was 15 years old. Grandma use to tell us about her childhood there.i wish she could go there atleast once but it is not possible.

Partition was good, but the only mistake was who supported two nations on the basis of religion. All of them are still living in bharat and playing victim card as minority. Soon they are going to be majority ......hindus need to start searching for secular land on somewhere, because hindus 🕉 have dicided they dont want to learn from their past.....support congress and one family and make another pakistan.

My moms grandmother also came to Pakistan from india a sikh helped her she was very small so he made her stay in his house for a long time she had no one his brother father and mother was killed only his father's brother and his family was alive because they were living in lahore at that time and he contacted to India and later found my moms grandmother she is still alive she doesn't remember stuff like her own son or daughter but remembers everything that happened to her sge said before the Sikh took her in his house a woman applied something red on her forehead so the people there won't kill her.

What do you mean there attitude is different from Pakistan I didn't understood your perspective and anyway the old generations have such attitude and new generations don't have this type of attitude. My ancestors moved from Sindh to India during partition and I don't have any kind of favourable attitude for Pakistan but it's pretty obvious that older generation which saw partition through their eyes have a soft corner but they are citizens of their own country and work there and contribute towards their country. I don't have any favourable view of Pakistan's government but maybe a soft corner for sindhis. Partition was a blessing for India and people like me and none of the immigrants from Pakistan in India are treated unwell. I did not face any discrimination and just treated like a normal citizen

My grandfather and his brother and sisters also remember the partition they tell us the story of partition and how they escaped from pakistan and settled here in delhi they were from guzrewala town in pakistan.

I used to talk with my thakuma ( dadi) . she was born in bangladesh and came in India after partition. She used to recall her childhood and talks about her house and neighborhood
