@@guts1141 the materials which make up those good pads has a more audible resonant frequency. Normal road pads still squeal, just to a point the frequencies are so high they are not audible by human.

A lot of ppl underestimate how much of a difference lighter wheels make. Especially when its 10-15 pounds or more in each wheel. Absolutely loved this lap that bmw is a beast.

Nah they're overrated. Performance changes are within a few tenths on track at best. Wheel stiffness, however, is criminally underrated. Those are worth half to one second on track, especially on street cars, because you gain effective negative camber in the corners without touching the geometry.

@damncritics Overrated? You talking about wheels?? If so then you couldn't be further from the facts. There's stock wheels that weigh upwards of 70 80 pounds so when you upgrade and now each corner had 30 pounds less that's 120 pounds dropped right there which can definitely change the way a car handles which obviously shaves off more than a few tenths. Also saves on wear on the components as well. I mean it sounded good but nah not even close to being overrated.

Nice spec! that setup is maybe the lightest M3/M4 you can get: Manual transmission, Carbon Buckets, Ceramic brakes, no driving assistant radar, no Laser Lights and M-Performance Wheels. Possibly even under 1.700 kg, which would be great for the G8x Platform.

Looked like such a fun lap! Seemed like everything was perfect with the car.

Im not discovery hot water, but, Misha at this point it's a racing legend for all of us the mortals, and the petrol heads all over the world

Such a smooth car. Gearing is perfect.

You can see that most cars are pushed their limit in one of the other way here but this M4 just took whatever was thrown at it. I think you could even see how direct the front end responded, not settling, no tires begging for mercy, just right into the corner. A no-BS track mod that just works.

Go Misha - I do track racing and the way you handle this type of vehicle at high speeds is impressive

👍probably the best M car ever and a manual too , be it for power , speed , comfort, handling and styling. Don’t get me wrong I hated the looks when it first came out but I love the looks now. . Kinda do still miss the N/A induction howl of the S50/54 . Love the detail on the rims 😉👍

as someone who's owned 2 f platform M cars including a CS and 2 g platform M cars, can confirm the g platform is night and day better than the f. its just sublime.

Very nice lap, gt4 has changed your driving style, in a good way. And maybe because of the manual gear ratio or simply because it's manual, you made great gear choices for corner exits, no more redline exits. You are improving Misha, keep up what you are doing, i can definently see you have improved your driving.

That was really special, I really got a sense of how drivable that guy’s car is. Man, I wish there was some sort of ‘real owner’s car’ mode in GT7 so I could virtually take his car out in the Ring myself! Replicating the car, tyres, set up etc. I’d pay for that. (PS5 with Fanatec, I’m just a dreamer but that would be a real evolution of that game).

All OEM upgrades with great function, manual transmission with rev match because most people dont want to heel and toe every day, 480 is very good horsepower lets be real, no need for more so it will be dead reliable for life and it looks sick!
