I hated standing over the sink so much!!! I was terrified of water when I was younger so we mostly did it over the sink until I got old enough to wash it

People with curly or natural hair completely understand why they are always reminding Audri that her curly hair is beautiful. Society makes it seem like straight hair is beautiful. So many little ethnic girls have been known to hate their hair because of society and what they see in magazine, tv, movies, etc. Great job guys in raising her to love herself the way God created her.

Yes in hate when people with curly hair get their hair straightened because I love their hair My dad is black and my mom is Native American and I have straight hair out of all my siblings and I love my siblings curly hair so I think they should wear their hair natural

When Audri said " I'am not scared because Gods with me" was the absolute cutest thing I have ever heard. I teach Sunday school to 3-4 year olds and that is exactly what our goal is, to hear kids remembering what they learned in Sunday school. Audri must be listening in Sunday school.

I wouldn't even say all americans, it may specifically be a cultural thing. I live in Virginia and here its only a black thing(: Its common for black mommas to wash our hair in the sink. But other races could just as well, i just havent seen it. We just wash our sinks well.
