She has talent. If she practices hard and show some confidence I think she can make. For the confidence part I think the family must support her and encourage her. She can also go to some dance classes to get her basic moves down.

I honestly find this concern so extra, let the girl dream big. if she's still acting like this at 20 I'd be concerned, but for now they should just let her take some classes and join a dance team. extra curriculars always look good on college and job apps down the line, esp since it seems like she has leadership skills. As far as her dancing goes, I'm just going to be blunt, she lacks a lot of skills. She's still dreaming in her head because that's as far as her family will let her go. Performing, competing, and auditioning will help her either improve or realize that this isn't her path. But until they let her do that, she's going to continue being unrealistic about this

i feel like it wouldn't be an 'extra' concern in korea. because being an idol and dancers and all that will make you successful there and most idols starts as early as she is or even earlier, that's probably why the sister was concern that she's not practicing hard for her dreams (plus the fact that her grades are dropping)

  • @nalad9387

    @nalad9387

To be fair, I think that if the koreans viewed it as a concern, she would've gotten way more votes. Plus I didn't get the vibe that her family wanted her to practice more, it seemed like they wanted her to stop which is why they didn't put her in dance classes in the first place. idk like i get where you're coming from, but the older sister mocked the girl enough to the point where she wouldn't dance in front of her family, but was fine with performing on stage at school. Its hypocritical to mock someone's dreams, then turn around and wonder why they don't take it seriously. Regardless of all of that, the girl is twelve (?), she's still super young and has more than enough time to work harder or even change dreams. I think her bad grades are more of a concern then her dance stuff.

They don’t even support her or encourage her so that she can grow in her dancing. That’s the saddest part about this. She’s the one who should have the concern not the sister. They won’t even put her in dance classes but expect her to be a mirror of what she sees online. SUPPORT HER THEN SHE WILL BLOSSOM! Don’t wait for her to be what you want her to be then decide to support her.

Not everyone has all skills from beginning. You need to have an eye for what you like deep from your heart. The girl has that. The problem is because of the people around you who constantly critisize you without trying to understand your perspective. People should throw away the idea that everyone is born with all skills. You learn the skills with time. I really hate parents who try to push their interests onto their child and a family who don't stand by each other.

This girl is still young so she shouldn't be criticized she has more then plenty enough time to improve, that way she can achieve her dream successfully by early 20s, so what they should be doing is just her advice on how she can improve so she can properly prepare for the future and become a professional choreographer. I wouldn't really label this a concern tho, as a recommendation she should probably check out 1Million Dance studio in a few yrs. The trainers there would definitely train and make her an incredible dancer.

18:48 to 18:58 , those words were so true. I didn't believe in myself until my musical director told me "Michelle you can do it. You're already so close to where I want you to be (this is just a few weeks in practice). Don't be so scared and nervous be more confident in yourself okay. I gave you this part because I know you can." And I ended up being so confident in acting and singing the solo people were shocked but in a very happy supprtive way. It was very refreshing especially knowing he was a professional and had so much trust in me. I'm really grateful for him

As someone who is also starting to choreograph. I know an hour a day is NOT enough especially when starting because you’re barely starting to learn how to get in your creative zone and then begin to choreograph. I know what’ll help her is taking some classes (even if it’s just dance workshops which typically aren’t expensive at all) & learning online will help her learn different moves and incorporate them into her dance. Also she should freestyle at home so she gets to know what type of choreography she does. I hope her the best and I know she can do it💖💖💖

I think for a 14 yr old who learns at home by herself she is good. Like when you start learning by yourself you often dont realize the what are the point dances , where to focus, body control and positioning. There is a lot more than just copying dance moves in dancing. And if you have never been taught or went to classes you wont really know how to exactly achieve and perform a song. She is young also. So I think if she was taking dance classes she would have done much much better! Also dance classses make you get lotsss of confidence. I hope her parent agree to let her attend classes.

Dedication, hard work and confidence will lead her be successful as choreography. She lacks confidence and just needs that boost. Just like JB she needs to practice more than one hour. I genuinely believe that she can be successful as choreographer if she takes up training and stays dedicated! It's about hard work & talent. And most importantly she needs support and love from family and friends.

I also want to be a choreographer but I know that my parents won’t ever support me, I don’t have that much confidence on myself, I really want to dance, I want to learn but my parents opposes it and no one actually supports me about it

Taehyun Nana as long as you support and believe in yourself you can do it. I regret not starting dancing earlier. I wasted my early years worrying about what other people thought of me. I am realizing now that nobody cares and just do what makes you happy. Take it from a almost failing dreamer because I didn’t take action earlier.

Hey, do you work a part time job or something? Because if you have some extra income, you can enrol in some dance lessons! Dont wait for parents to tell you what you ‘can’ or ‘cant’ do. Its your own decision because its your life. Nobody has the right to tell you what you can or cant do. Try showing this vid to your parents and see what they say. And then tell your parents that not letting you become a choreographer will make you miserable. Im sure your parents want you to be happy in life, this is the balance that they have to take. I hope that ive been helpful in my advice. My advice is: Dont give up and keep fighting for your dreams, because your dreams will not fight for you!

she's definitely with the music which is a great thing, but she's still pretty young and can improve overtime if she really put in the hard work to become a better dancer. taking dance classes, intensives, or dance workshops will help her improve on widening her knowledge in dance, so when she choreographs it wont be too repetitive. self-taught is also not a bad thing, and i would say.....she dont get to pay if she's learning it through videos/youtube. i am a dancer myself and have done many performances/competitions with groups and solo throughout my life as a young child.

It's hard having no one believe you, its one of the limiting factors to a dream, but I know she is 12, but I felt no spark or passion when it came to her dance, maybe because she was timid. But I know that when I dance, I feel inspired and my eyes light up, hers at this current moment seem normal. But I will root for the girl because from one person to another, my mum was completely against it to the point she wanted me to change careers and my father was "meh" due to the fact that I as firm, if I wasn't he'd be just unsure like I was.

I feel like she's almost the same as me. Im very good at speaking, I participate in public speaking,storytelling.... I do motivational talks to some people and im only 13 this year. When I practice in front of my mother, she tends to critize me and im less confident in front of her. But when I do it in front of a crowd, everyone says that im really amazing and all that

I feel bad for the girl. She was singled out a lot. Education is important but it isn't everything. I'm not saying that she should be able to only focus on dance instead of studying, but grades really aren't everything especially if she wants to be a choreographer. I also give her mad props for one, dancing on TV like that and two, dancing in front of Jinyoung and JB 😂 I honestly find it hilarious how casual Koreans are when it comes to their celebrities. It's as if they're a somewhat normal part of society to some extent. Like a lot of the time, people don't freak out being near them whereas in America, it's a huge deal. I can relate to Ha-eun about not wanting to talk to family about her dreams. I don't talk to my brothers about my desire to be a lyricist and producer. I don't talk to my parents about it either. I've mentioned it but every time, I get that smile and nod response as if it's a phase. My dad's said, "Do you write well? You haven't taken any classes for it." And yeah that's not too bad of a question but you don't always need lessons to be a good writer. Although I wish I had a mentor of sorts, I think I could be so much better with a mentor, it's a lot harder for writers. Who do we go to? Dreams are a hard thing to have and it's true that a lot of uncertainty comes with being a dreamer. A lot of the time, I wish I wasn't creative at all. I wish I was more practical. I wish I didn't care about music so much because my love for it stresses me out

For me. I take hip hop lessons. 2 lessons in a week. One with choreography, then the other with hip hop basics. I also in the past looked at some kpop groups dance practices and looked up for tutorial. Litetally I just know the small amount of the iconic chorus of some songs for now. But that was when I took no lessons or anything. No experience basically. Hope I can improve soon bc I lack creativity and I have a hard time learning some kpop songs choreography. And over all it takes time for me to get a move right. So that's why I'm always in the back or corne.

People in the comments telling criticism like it's a bad thing. To be honest, it makes a person. They should have change how she thinks about herself and instead take criticisms from her family as a strength to work hard. Of course, her family cares for her, that's why they're like that. She cries with those criticisms but when in life you will receive more. It will be fully a concern to the family, if they don't acknowledge her even if she's famous.

I also dance and want to be a choreographer. But 1 hour a day won't do anything. I try to dance everyday and when i do it's atleast 2-3 hours. Sometimes I can't because I practice in my room. Dancers don't get respect that much and people think we can't dance good because i think dancers are a lil shy to dance in front of people. But they should definitely support her.

I think maybe they were expecting her to really push herself towards her dreams, dance classes or none. Although yeah, she just started so she needs more work obviously
