These types of dramas have been around before most of us started watching them. They are cheaply made, mass produced and very popular, our outside views are not going to change or stop this! The best bet is to read comments, check endings and decide if you want to watch or skip, easy to find good ones or try the many miniseries dramas which are fantastic!

Agreed. As viewers, one other thing we can do if we really think the content is inappropriate for viewers, is to flag and report the drama to KZread. I've done this a couple of times and my report has been taken seriously.

Thanking all the commenters who reviewed this, so I know to avoid. I hate when the whole drama is the FL being abused. I can only take 30 mins (60 mins at best) and then I need to see them winning and adequate retribution to the bad guys and her not going back to the same deadbeat man or I’m out.

Are you kidding me? HOW did this trash drama get so many thumbs up? ML keeps FL in a cage - chained in a cage! He and everyone else abuse her from start to finish and then there is a 30 seconds "I forgive you scene" - I should have read the comments first!

I would have definitely gone with the brother. At least he didn't have a part in destroying her family and he never abused her. Once an abuser, always an abuser.

How bad the ML is the female lead only chooses him. he does not even believe the kid is his unless he saw the medical report. He punished the FL so badly but didn't do anything to wenqing and tong. He is saying he believed they will change, what stupidity.

This movie is a mess. Cant stand these dramas where the fl gets abused the entire time and the ml finally finds the culprit and just sends them to jail. No torture or retribution for the real evil doers. Ugh. Hate these movies.

I feel like these dramas are good for young people to watch so they know how to *not act crazy* irl.

FL was treated worst than and animal being chained and all that by the ML and just because he issued a public apology saying "sorry" during a press conference, the FL relented, forgave him, forgot all his abusive behaviour and get back with him? ML has all the resources to fact check the lies but he does so only after punishing the FL. Gross ignorance! also, ML was all talk and no decisive action taken. ANW, the FL lead probably deserve what is happening to her. She had the chance but did not take it so .... Sorry but she is just plain stupid. ... tolerating all the women in ML's life like he is the only man on earth. Gross. Why didnt the script made them all (FL, the 2 SFL, the in-laws, the grandma and the ML) live together under one roof with the ML and the 3 female characters in one room sharing the same bed? that would more gross, right?

Lol.. nope she forgave him officially when his half brother beat him to a pulp and put the bomb on him when he came to rescue her😂😂.. You know they throw in the knife of forgiveness ( I saw someone else say this on another post can't remember who but I wanted to credit them), beatings of restitution, or if they drink a glass of poison for them😂. All is forgiven in drama land.. oh don't forget when they throw in the kids eventually helping the dad convince the mom.🤣🤣

I think one of the reasons why the stupid FL always takes the Abusive ML is that they blame the 2FL who confuses by doing wrong, thus they forgive them, even if the ML takes a back stabbed wound with a butter knife. In psychology class, they say a person who has repeatedly abuse, torture and raped suffers from Stockholm syndrome and because of this, they will always go back to their abuser because thats all they are condition to know. Its sick, but abuse victims do go back to their abuser because they dont know what else to do. In Chinese as well as the rest of the world, it's common, and there really needs a stop to domestic violence. The only way is to voice and help the victims. These dramas just enhance what an abusive relationship is and how victims always go back in the name of fake love or have children. There are a few dramas where the FL leaves or has another relationship with someone else.

I feel sorry for all the actors and actresses who work with poor scripts, poor technology, and poor management.
