A small detail i liked was the final fight in the stadium, it was visually stunning and was one of the best looking superhero fights I've seen in a while

I saw it earlier today, it wasn't perfect but overall I enjoyed it. It was honestly better put together than most of the MCU's Phase 4 lineup, and that's really saying something coming from someone who's always preferred Marvel to DC.

I'm saddened by how your review has been basically buried by WB. I'll not be seeing Shazam 2 at all, or until I find an illegal copy I guess, since I don't want WB to have my money.

I absolutely love both the first one and this sequel, and it saddens me that the general consensus seems to be that people hated it/skipped it entirely. This review was a breath of fresh air, well done

I didn't really like it, it seemed like the stakes were kind of low but I wasn't bored with it or anything

The world being riddled with monsters and the world possibly dying and everyone loosing their powers is low stakes.....what???

I find it kinda funny how we already got two DC movies this year that were honestly pretty good (this and Blue Beetle), but we’ll likely be having two DC movies this year that were complete garbage (The Flash and most likely Aquaman 2)

This movie was so disappointing to me. But if I had to say what movie is the better DCEU franchise sequel? Yeah this movie is leagues better than WW2, where Diana fucking sexually assaulted that poor guy's body. Compared to that movie, this movie is a masterpiece

Nice opinion, but I disagree. The villains were awful in my opinion, at least in terms of depth. The main antagonist’s whole goal was she wanted to wipe out humans and kill her sister just for locking them up. How does one make that logical conclusion! In the first film, the villain actually had motivation, he was a vengeful person who had a troubled familiar relationship, perfectly contrasting with Billy’s lack of a family. It added to the theme. The humour was also off, and even repetitive. I only liked one regarding when they all spilled the beans, only for one to say they’re gay. All the others didn’t have the same intelligence or subtlety. Not to mention the cliches. And finally, and I know this isn’t the movie’s or even the actress’s fault, but I couldn’t stop thinking of her opinion of Snow White out of my head whenever I saw her on screen.

It's not nearly as bad as the Ant Man movie but it's not great.
