He is trying not to do anything to interfere with an investigation or criticize without all the facts imo

“This dude rambles” “He said nothing” He said a hell of a lot more than Triple H did. He answered quite well, considering the lawsuit is very recent and ongoing. The Brutus Beefcake question was unnecessary as well. Brutus walked that story back and it came from a stupid shoot interview. Just admit you all hate Shawn Michaels and have bias towards him.

To the people saying he said nothing, it wasn’t that hard to understand what he was saying. He’s saying that while he’s done stupid things in the past, he’s never shied away from talking about it. He pointed out that Beefcake retracted what he said in that interview. He says that people who take advantage of women have power issues and dislike women, which he never had. He says he had no issues getting women, and thus had no need to result to any of that behaviour. I know he stutters a lot now, but you guys act like it’s impossible to understand what he was saying here 😅

I agree. Also what do people want him to say???? These reporters are just digging for a headline. He runs NXT and since he found God in the early 2000s has been a universally liked person by many people who use to absolutely hate him. They’ve said he’s a completely different person. He had his bad moments just like we all do and owned up to it and became a better man. That has nothing to do with the absolutely horrible allegations against Vince McMahon. WWE has been a publicly traded company for a long time now with a strong corporate structure and now with endeavor they’ll try to improve on that. That’s all they can do is go forward and do everything they can to make it better. Grilling HBK and HHH about this isn’t accomplishing anything. They both run creative. Someone like Nick Khan would be the one to answer these questions. These are questions for corporate executives not just someone who works there. Nothing wrong asking him but the reporters just keep the same question but just reword it in their own vocabulary. Any recent interview with HBK is gonna sound like he doesn’t answer anything. Its his speech pattern you have to get use but like you said if someone can pay attention its not that hard to figure out what he’s saying. This one was especially bad because they were regurgitating the same question on a subject he’s not really qualified to answer. It would be asking Nick Kkan how to put together a match. Now ask HBK that he can definitely answer that with all the rambling of course 😂

For those who aren’t fluent in HBK he basically said there’s an open door policy, there’s people outside of here they can contact if they don’t feel comfortable coming to him or other people in NXT and he isn’t gonna treat someone the right way just because its on a sheet of paper he’s gonna treat them the right way because that’s how its done at NXT and that’s how its gonna continue to be and for those who can’t treat people the right way there are consequences.

I think he did a great job answering the best he could. He wasn't evasive but he can't really say what he doesn't know either.

I feel Shawn handled this very well. Cody Rhodes also responded well and I would even go on to say he spoke perfect on the matter.

Ya know. I find it remarkable that after everything. After all the trials and tribulations. The car crashes and near misses. That when the final nail has seemingly been driven in the McMahons involvement with WWE, that it's gonna be Shawn Micheals. The Heartbreak Kid. The Show Stopper, that is gonna lead WWE talent into the next phase of the business. I think that's pretty cool, and I'm really happy for Shawn. He deserves it.

All of these interviews are pointless because none of the wrestlers are talking. Do we even know if TKO is allowing the wrestlers to speak on any of this?? I would image with an ongoing investigation what the wrestlers can say is very limited so that it's not used against them later.

Shawn takes the high road. In a roundabout way He should just say let's get all the facts in first. Vince needs some serious therapy.

People need to understand how Shawn is incredibly well spoken when he's specifically talking about wrestling. Another thing to consider is the amount of bumps he's taken to the head. That's enough to mess with the speech patterns, and don't forget he's always been all over the place when communicating. It's simply gotten worse with the later bumps and of course aging.

There have long been rumors that Vince pimped Stephanie out the way he's basically shown pimping that worker out in the texts. They even kind of alluded to it in a WWE storyline when she was about to marry Triple H. The fact that the texts seem to demonstrate that the guy does do shit like that makes my skin crawl. As does the fact that Stephanie quit right before this story broke.

thats the worst kept secret in wrestling. I think you'll find in these "band of brothers" who looked after each other after things like the planeride from hell. There is probably a lot that knew or at least had unconfirmed stories. actually complicit people taking part?t..im sure there probably wasn't very many in that sick club. but how many people knew vince was crossing the line with women?...i bet a lot of women who have had good careers might have a story or two. thing is how much did HHH know? it's one thing knowing your boss is a scumbag. it's another thing to know for a fact hes trafficking. Stephenie getting out of dodge was unexpected...and that makes me think that a lot of people didn't know at least until around that time cornette has called vince every name i can think of. yet he sounds truly stunned at this, he says he can imagine vince being a weirdo . but not to anything close to this extent. he said nothing about being around vince would give you this impression. he said it was being in the office with the principle and the furthest thing from your mind..and you presume vinces mind..is sex, in any capacity. meaning he has only started this in later life since cornette left. seems hard to beleieve, or hes been hiding it well..or cornette is lying. but he sounded pretty sincere. i realise this is just a long winded(unitentionally) opinion. nothing factual,. just "taking part" lol as fopr hbk..remember also. there is only so much he can say about a live case in which(theoretically) vince could be innocent. so i THINK there was opinions he maybe cannot give. i could be wrong im from the uk and often get our laws confused with yours

I'm coming from a third person's prospective as are most people on hearing about certain inviduals in pro wrestling being involved in unprofessional misconduct be it in private or public. I believe it's pretty ignorant for anyone to bare false witness to something they didn't witness first hand and throw accusations around and place blame without having all the facts and evidence to draw to a final conclusion. I mesn people are not perfect but people should make effort to learn from their own mistakes and others mistakes and grow a little wiser and smarter and make an effort to not repeat these mistakes again.

I haven't been following Shawn and his current business with Vince, so I would have no idea if him and the wrestlers knew about this really messed up recent thing from Vince. I wouldn't be surprised if they did.

Shawn’s denial of Beefcake’s accusation is basically “I didn’t need to drug women to get laid”. I’m sure Bill Cosby didn’t, either. Rich and famous people will always have fans and groupies willing to sleep with them, and Cosby was far more rich and famous than Michaels was. There are multiple Marty Jannetty interviews, both in writing and verbal, where he seems to reveal that he at times got a sexual thrill from drugging women then abusing them. In those same interviews he states that Shawn was right there with him, engaging in that behavior. I also find it interesting that when responding to the Beefcake allegation here, Shawn refers to himself in the third person. It’s almost as if he’s disassociating the person he is now with who he was back then, like they’re two different people. He does that often, tries to dismiss past behavior with “that’s not who Inam anymore”, and maybe it’s because the Shawn Michaels of those days wasn’t just a drug addled a-hole, but was also a deviant criminal.
