By the way if a knife edge is skating your fingernails it means it's dull not sharp because a dull knife can't dig into your fingernails but a sharp knife can. The white stuff on the knife just means that your knife is full and it's scraping the nail off into a White powder. And this knife sharpener doesn't work

Thank you for the video! I usually use oil stones and strop with green compound. I love to sharpen knives , obviously it won’t get it 3000 grit sharp , but I think I can use one of your sharpeners for quick touch up while working . Great video Sir!

U can tune them up. This knife is not as sharp as I would leave it if I had a little more time. Please think about and remember, this blade is made for chopping. That means through bones and all. Thanks 4 watching.

I just picked up another tip

I have been trying for a month or so now and still don't quite have it yet. A Learning curve I guess but then again, I aint that smart ! lol. Could I ask, after sharpening so many knives what in your opinion is the best, easiest sharpening knife ? I have spent at least $2,500 in the past and can't find one like I used to in the 60's-70's

Easy sharpening knives are a little softer. Thay sharpen easy but dull fast. U R just going to have to learn how to sharpen good knives. What city do U live in? Maybe I can help.

Carbide pull through sharpeners are horrible for knives. They destroy the edge. I get that you are refining it with the steel, but the edges still won't last as long as a properly sharpened knife.
