16:19 minutes of soldiering....THAT'S SOLDIERING!
Wellingtons dramatic head turn at 10:41 is the best part of the video =D
From Sharpe clips to Sharpe compilations - what a riveting period of innovation we're witnessing
If the French emperor got hit by one of those exploding shells he'd be Napoleon Blownapart.
Sharpe marching into the mists of history at the end of Waterloo, just brilliant
Seeing Napoleon running away from you on the battlefield and deciding that was really all you wanted to get out of going to war anyway - now that's soldiering.

Napoleon was not actually there for this one, but never let the truth get in the way of a good bit of T.V!
The best moments in Sharpe are when the french drums strart beating and you hear the "Vive la France". It gives that Bondarchuk's Waterloo vibe

Just when we thought the adventures were over, this magnificent bastard pulls us back in....now that's soldiering at its finest, sir!
Capturing shots of Sharpe at his best? Now that's true Sharpeing and Soldiering!!!
A hero of modern British myth and legend. Just what Tolkien wanted. Cornwell just gave him a Baker rifle and made him indestructible, rather than a sword and an honorable death in the first act.

Being polite to ma'am whilst mortally wounded. Now thats soldiering!
Boney such a good general his presence raises the morale of even enemy officers lol
Oh no It's him! My biggest enemy!
11:02 Old Boney hopped on his pony and bolted back home!
First clip, Simmerson actually being helpful. And all it took is to have a fortress massacred and him left for dead in the Indian sun

One can find his repeated acts of incompetence and cowardice in the face of the enemy repetitive...
Sharpe is the quintessential badass!!
I've been watching these sharpe shirts for 3 years I just ordered tge entire collection of Amazon Sean bean fan forever
Continuing on with great work despite finishing your duty? Now that's soldiering!
As a Sharpe. I'm happy this was the role Sean Bean survived
Sharpe is like a machine. He is like a lawn mower cutting the grass with the enemy armies.

“Johnny Cope” on the pipes. Such slaughter in Napoleonic warfare.
16 minutes of actual soldiering!
10:00 for those who don't get the reference, the music the band are playing ('The Girl I Left Behind Me') is played at the same moment in the Sergei Bondarchuk film "Waterloo"

Now thats soldiering
Seeing Bonaparte, i get just as excited as Sharpe
Riding straight across the battlefield with the colours towards a french fort, being shot off your horse, continuing towards the fort unconcerned with the infantrymen coming for you, planting that flag upright before fighting them one-armed six to one while bleeding out and still managing to kill one of them before they have to all bludgeon you together to keep you from getting back up - that's soldiering.

@@TheAndrew3319 he was captured and tortured untill he gave information to the french ( hence the missing arm) I think he was freed, and they gave him the option to charge and redeem his honour rather than be executed.

Running out of episodes so compiling a best-of collection of clips? That's Sharpe The Legend Bonus DVD ing.
10:26 the dead French soldier is Richard Moore. He made the seven barrelled Nock volley gun.
Well done Sharpe!
I'm surprised to see that Sean Bean's role character didn't die
.., I know, they are shouting "vive le vrere"., all I hear is "we want love" :D
The legend has returned
Oh I needed this .
Well sir, when I saw his style I decided to "one-up" him as they say. I hit like, then I subscribed and hit the bell.
Magnifique documentaire
The shadow of the smoke drifting over the line at 12:10 adds so much to the scene.
That guys from Kingdom of Heaven! An amazing actor too! Wish he was in more stuff
"La garde meurt mais ne se rend pas !" ("The Guard dies but does not surrender!").
Terrific videos. But am I allowed to say "a bit magnificent seven in places?" I love it all the same!
Chaps then knew how to have a good time
nice
Now. That. Is. Soldiering.
So at 14:39, when it snaps back to the line of soldiers after the closeup of Sharpe’s face, the man in the middle is holding a m1891 Mosin-Nagant rifle. The gun has had its bolt handle sawn off, brass bands added around the barrel and a crude mockup of a flintlock bolted to the right side in order to make it look like a proper musket. Fun little bit of trivia
Sir Arthur Wellesley His Grace The 1st Duke of Wellington. 👍😊🇬🇧
A lot of battles were fought and many casualties as well too.
I like this
1:36 He had that dying rizzz
Soldier: gets stabbed The lady: kills the enemy Soldier: I believe i am killed ma’am Me: Ya Think

0:07 that's the war cries from the first Stronghold game, and Stronghold: Crusader! When a large group of units is told to attack, they make that very same cry.
Some say sharp is still holding the line somewhere!
its funny how many times sharpe is nearly killed in a duel and he survives because hes fighting a gentleman who lets him regain his footing
Napoleon never stood a chance. He should have surrendered to Sharpe as soon as he got to Waterloo.
Next needs to be all the best of Sharpe's Woman.
And we're back again, soldiering! I must learn to keep this account logged in, or else find out how to make KZread send me email notifications, dammit. (I have to say it strikes me as odd to use Cornwell's book description of Sharpe on the video when Cornwell himself has said "I described him at the beginning of _[Eagle]_ as tall and black-haired, which was fine till Sean Bean came along, after which I tried not to mention his hair colour ever again.") Anyway, I'm definitely not complaining, as I've been really missing the regular uploads and it's good to be back. Greetings to all Chosen Men!
"I saw him!"
Now this is soldering
8:16 I didn't realise Tom Cruise was one of Sharpe's Subordinates
Huzzah, I hope they do interviews next, Darragh (Sgt Pat) is free and up for them I say.

Making a “now that’s soldiering” joke on a video about sharpe soldiering *now that’s soldiering!!*
I love all these vids, watch them for hours! Sharpe is brilliant, hard as nails, real soldier bought up o chips and gravy!! As a youngster watching this first time round and my mum oogling over Sean, my dad would would be oogling over any cleavage, I’d wander off in my thoughts and think if I was there with a full auto machine, a few 50 cals, mini gun, grenades, howitzers, flame throwers etc how that would be fun to help out. I’d love to have a .338 lap mag rifle and knock off frog officers at 1000yds etc. Tbh, a single shot cartridge rifle would have been like a full auto to them in those days lol.
"Just my f- (cannon shot) ing luck"
One more time, ye buggers! CHOSEN MEN, TO ME!
Well this is a surprise
lol they keeps bringing a sword to a sharpe fight
