I've been to two of his shows this year, one in Barcelona and one in Manchester, England. The man is far from irrelevant. You have to be ignorant to love Pink Floyd's music. Any twelve-year-old can do the same thing if they are given good equipment, such as synthesizers etc. It's fake music, a scam. And he knows it! That's why he tries to make up for it by pretending to be a philosopher. Gilmour, at least, is humble. He doesn't think he's anything other than he is. That's what I like about him.
