Eh it depends. I worked at a very successful chain salad restaurant that only sold salad and salad/rice bowls. If it's in the right location it can work. The location I worked was in an area with lots of office buildings and we had long lines every lunchtime. I understand the benefits but I worry it could harm the main business. Focus on doing salads better than anyone else.

More entrepreneurs who just don't get it!! Their valuation is insane! I can not believe that in 2021(don't know when this episode previewed), that there are not 10's of 1000's of people trying to start what they think are "healthy" foods! IT IS NOT A NEW THING!! Many, many entrepreneurs have appeared on DRAGON'S DEN-UK/Can, and SHARK TANK USA, AUSTRALIA, etc. with the same ideas, and most do not last that long. I live in a large mid-west city, and have seen many salad shops come and go, and not there just are not ANY!! I miss them, but people just weren't going to them. I always thought it was odd how fast they disappeared! They just over-valued their business!

This isn’t unique. In LA we have like a dozen different brands of places like this. There’s a place called “LA Colossal salads” that had been doing this since the 80s. I even worked at one in Santa Monica when I was a kid.
