Just a suggestion and question....why don't the awesome lifesavers use two or three drones to scan the waters the whole day? Sharks can be easily spotted from above.

It's great to see people lend a hand when needed.
It was so smart of the rescuers to not talk to him about the shark and to ask him to focus on them! If he would've panicked and thought more about the situation, there's a good chance he could've died from blood loss since your blood pumps faster when you panic. Such great people that helped him, so glad they were out there.
Many people don’t realise how many blood and platelet transfusions cancer patients need. My son had over 100 blood transfusions and over 150 platelet transfusions over his 8 years of cancer treatment, starting at age 5. I didn’t know myself, until he was diagnosed and went into treatment. I always thought of car crashes and accidents, when it came to people needing blood. So now everyone I know donates, because many cancer patients need it, including many children. Thank you to anyone who has ever donated, your literally saving lives.

This is so true! When I was going through treatment I lost count of all the ones I had! It’s absolutely crazy but I’m so grateful for everyone that donates blood! ❤️

Me too. When I was 8 months pregnant I had a ruptured splenic artery aneurysm and had a ER C-section but I was a full code blue. The first night alone I received over 36 units of blood, cell saver and plasma. My son and I were the 14th known woman and baby to have both survived a ruptured SAA. Every time I see the Red Cross truck I thank the workers and people donating. Without them I would not have lived. I was loosing more than they could put in me. We’re so very blessed and thankful to everyone who donates.
4:22 I got full body chills even though I've seen this episode. The Bondi Rescue editors really know how to foreshadow and tell the story with such respect & detail.
As someone from the states who vacations in Florida, I am shocked at how much precaution is taken there in Australia when a shark is spotted. Maybe Florida wouldn’t be shark attack capital if things like this were set in place.

This is why I don’t go in the water mostly because of jellyfish 😅
RIP surfer
Beware of the shark! Enjoy the Bondi Beach 🏖🌊🇦🇺❤️

I had a tiger shark under me in the Swan River. I didn't even know it was there until I accidentally kicked the poor thing. It obviously had no interest in me or my mates and was just passing through. If it wanted one of us, it would've had us. Just doing its own thing. So much fear mongering over the beautiful creatures.

What season and episode is it?
If you want to make the beach really safe, you need to patrol it all the time with drones and have a Jet Sky ready in the water. You can use automated drone scanning with AI software searching for sharks silhouette that triggers an alarm system for the life guards central. Then you launch the jet skis to clear the beach and escorts the shark out of the bay. Life is precious and with that you can have peace of mind to enjoy the beach.
How.did.he.survive.the.attack
Rip . 🌷❤️

Name of video
Good episode, great work by you guys. But... don' t 😊agree with shark nets.
Love that bondi can call the helicopter for missing bodies, but the helicopter records it and sends it to the news? 2:34 Like whoever was on that helicopter.. actual pos 2:52 whoever zoomed in instead of contacting someone to sound the alarm no regard for human life. 2:59 Maybe if they sounded the alarm when they saw it instead of posting it to the news 3:23 the person who’s arm got bitten off would of heard the sharks around yesterday and wouldn’t of had to read the news to see oh there was a shark there yesterday. But nope:) content over human life right. 3:30 “danger ignored” 3:46 because whoever took that picture got paid for that, and trying to diminish a company for content should be fired. Glen is a lucky fella and thanks for the French people for stopping the blood loss ! True heroes unlike the helicopter crew that day.. even the lifeguards donated blood for him! Where were they? 9:51, 10:03, 10:17 clearly this is a different crew

❣❤❣
Swimming in the ocean is trespassing.
There’s nothing appealing about a sport that could result in losing limbs or dying.
Where there are sharks sirens every hundred yards down along the beach by golly that’s the beach I wanna go swim off.
I don't get why people keep going in these waters ... I love swimming but ... why in such places ... ? I guess they just like danger.
The title tho
My sun runs from me he will get lost I already no
Wasn't it the one armed man that murdered Dr Kimble's wife. Is this the guy? More than twenty years later the guy gets found out.
Its their territory not ours. Simple as.
If they used drones to spot sharks at beaches Bondi would probably be closed most of the time. There's a LOT of sharks in the water and 99.9999% of them arent interested in humans. This guy got very unlucky.
I now live in the uk and most of my swimming is in the Mediterranean Sea with no sharks. However, as I was born and raised in Sydney I still fear sharks and it does not matter where, even is seas that should be safe. You’re in their territory so if you encounter one, it’s game over. I also don’t believe the shark should be killed. A lot of people agree. They do what they do as part of nature and the numbers are declining rapidly. Look at China and fin soup.
@thisisroggy

Matey, if you think there are no sharks in the Med you're kidding yourself. No need to be alarmed as the chances of encountering one are slim to none, but also please don't be naive about it.
Sharks arnt aggressive normally that one was obviously starving or the person shark they are amazing animals though (in my opinion)
