Bondi Rescue follows the work of the elite professional Lifeguards who patrol Australia’s busiest beach. This is Australia’s real life Baywatch! Taking the viewers on their journey through mass rescues, drownings, resuscitations, shark sightings, and all number of the weird and wonderful experiences Bondi Beach dishes up.
In #BondiRescue the audience sees the action through the eyes of real characters and #lifeguards like Hoppo, Deano, Reidy, Jesse, Maxi, Whippet and Harries, as they catch thieves, perform CPR, make drug busts, break up fights, and even handle a navy bomb that washes ashore one afternoon. Honestly props to the lifeguards of Bondi for always sticking to their principles even when they are nervous or afraid. It’s comforting to know the beach has such a vigilant team who will always do their best to make sure people are safe and can go home with hopefully a positive experience.

Mario was wrong and should acknowledge that. The problem was due to his communication and English limitations. It is totally unreasonable for him to defend having given dangerously bad direction. If the person had been drowning, he would have died while Mario repeatedly yell “Here! Here!”

Apparently the reason she said he always does this is because on every holiday he apparently WOULD purposely hurt himself so he could take painkillers and essentially ruining the vacation everytime. She was being very literal and I honestly feel bad for her and her daughter.
That wife of that injured guy was ridiculous. Not like he did it on purpose to ruin her nor his vacation. I'd divorce her. She is mean and selfish. Poor guy.

Apparently he does do this on purpose, every time they're on holiday. He's addicted to pain killers so will hurt himself. Although this time it may have been completely an accident, the fact that he will do stuff like this to get pain killers has to wear on her.

A lot of these videos like the one where someone unfortunately died from drowning, are news worthy, I remember back in the day there would be a news story on channel 10 / 9 / 7 about a death on Bondi and then Bondi rescue would have an segment about that unfortunate event a couple weeks later. Yeah it is reality TV but I think most of this is one is true.

I know we don't know the full story but that wife seemed horrible. That seems like an awful relationship to be in. If someone loved you they would be concerned for your welfare after you've had an accident, but that seemed straight up anger and guilt tripping. Hope the kids are ok too. yeah no, shes just a narcissist , she cant even stay calm for his kids sake.. i grew up with a mother that acted like this and it 100% will cause trauma to her kids in the long run, probably walking on egg shells every day because of her.

@@dba1222 yeah i noticed that after i posted, luckily the pen is not an opioid, so unless the hospital gives him something hes outta luck, i still stand by what i said about the wife though :P Hopefully he finds his road to recovery and doctors start catching onto his addiction and note it on his file.
Good to show the more stressy sides of the job as well. Small fights and frustrations are part of it, but good to see that they still remain professional and don't let it get in the way of safety and such!

I so appreciate the Bondi rescuers genuinely assisting people, putting themselves in unsafe situations for the people. I'm so sad for these people with drug issues on the beach and hope they can get help, I feel conflicted that their moments of struggle when they aren't at their best is filmed online forever.
I think you can definitely tell Mario's got a good heart but his strategies and methods of trying to help aren't very coordinated or planned out. Seeing him trying to save everyone on the jet ski and not realising its too much for the jet ski to handle shows this. None the less he's still a legend! Go Mario and Singlets!

@jojofanatico6928 yea. I read that on another site and she did make the comment of how he does this all the time and normally getting to ride in the ambulance with him. That suggests that he had been taken on multiple ambulance trips.
I actually feel so bad for the guy with the broken neck. At one point it looked like he was about to cry when he said that it wasn’t his fault. 🥺❤️😭

I honestly hope that they were able to pinpoint why she felt the way she did, and were able to resolve whatever that deeper issue was so they could continue to work things out and hopefully grow closer together. At the end of the day, you can see the kids care deeply about both parents. They were leaning on mum for support, and crying over the state of their dad. If they loved each other enough at one point to marry and start a family, I have high hopes that they’ll find what has been dividing them, and rekindle that love and care for one another.

The Lifeguards are fantastic and do great work with and for the public, let us hope that the courts adequately back them up in the job!

she’s a piece of work. more concerned about her vacation than her husband in a neck brace. I guarantee if he was injured and couldn’t work, she’d be first one out the door. I’ve met woman like her before. No good!

So you never had a bad moment in a stressful situation? Also did you not even see how it didn’t even effect the job? They literally worked together to save lives? Their argument had literally no effect on their ability to do their job
