SharePoint - How To Grant Users Access To A Single Document Library On A Site
Ғылым және технология
Watch to learn how you can grant users access to a specific document library on a site to which they do not currently have access. The users will only have access to the library you specify. However, there is a caveat. This specific library will no longer inherit its permissions from the site level. Any permission changes at the site level will NOT affect the permissions in the specified library. Keep in mind these users will have access only to the specified library and no other resources on the site.

Yw! Thanks so much for watching!
Thanks for this informative video! If the group or a person was given access to only this folder (without giving them access to the Sharepoint site), then how will they be able to view this folder later on (other than accessing the link from the email)?
Thanks!

My pleasure! Thanks for watching!
How would you remove access to the entire Document Library for visitors but keep access for visitors to the Home page?

Warning - the steps below will prevent visitors from even seeing the document library where you implement the following. Step 1: Go to the library and visit the Library Settings menu Step 2: Open up "Permissions for this doc library" Step 3: Click "Stop Inheriting Permissions" Step 4: Select the "Visitors" group Step 5: Click "Edit User Permissions" Step 6: make sure there are NO check marks
